Major Update for Stinky Snake v2.0


1) Partial controller support has been added for Xbox 360 controller. The user will still need to use the mouse and keyboard for interaction with other characters in the game, as well as, navigating the main menu.
2) Addition of a tutorial level that is accessible from the Start Game and will show up in the Level Select menu after.
3) Addition of more levels, both above ground and underground.
4) Expanded the story line for what happens when the player finds the family.
5) Updated level design throughout more in some levels than others.
6) New non-player characters including killer butterflies, hummingbirds, turtles.
7) New transition comics for the additional paths through the game with user-controlled navigation versus timed-navigation.
8) New original in-game music.
9) Updated of the previous original music for the main menu.
10) New level naming scheme to include the town names within the game.
11) Updates to artwork, dialogue, game play and story line.

Hopefully I did not miss anything.

Patch Notes for Stinky Snake v1.2.1

This update focused on the audio controls and balancing the sounds within the levels for a better game experience. We have added a new background soundtrack throughout the game. The main menu is updated with more controls for sound. Difficulty levels in now found in the Options > Controls.

Updated the interactions for throwing coconuts at the witch and some other characters.

Features:
- You can now communicate with some of the NPC's within the game. Added a dialogue system.
- You can now get a boost from a new mystery plant, as oppose to jumping tons of platforms.
- You can travel more quickly down great lengths, using the collapsible platforms.

Bugs:
- Fixed a bug which kept you alive when you threw a coconut at the witch even after life ran out.
- Fixed stacked skunks and tiling issues.
- Fixed the background scrolling issues.

Along with the above, added some window dressing for a better feel. Also update the general layer maps for some levels.

  1. Level 3: Fix Coconut Cannon disappear on coconut impact.

  18. All levels: The coconut cannon seems to have infinite ammo as long as you have at 3 coconuts.
  19. Level 7: Change the towers holding checkpoint flags to be ground versus platform.
  20. All levels: adjust day-and-night cycle to be attached to the camera versus the player.
