Stock Car Extreme price adjusted, no longer warrants Automobilista
As announced yesterday, from today onwards purchasing Stock Car Extreme will no longer warrant a copy of our upcoming release, Automobilista.
We have extensively and passionately developed SCE for over 2 years now, updating it continuously with improvements and new free content - we hope our users have enjoyed it as much as we have!
While its development is now wrapped, Stock Car Extreme still warrants one of the most complete and realistic racing simulation experiences you will find in the PC - featuring over 20 racing series ranging from karts to F1 cars, spread over 30 unique models and 30 venues ranging from small kart tracks to historical and modern GP circuits - SCE provides all this and much more!
If you are a simracing enthusiast you cannot go wrong with Stock Car Extreme - now for only US$ 19.99!
Important update!
Last week, we announced our new upcoming game: Automobilista - Motorsports Simulator. www.game-automobilista.com . The game will be free to all existing owners of Stock Car Extreme, so long as you bought or have your copy activated here on Steam, all you have to do now is wait for it to become available!
For those who do not yet own Stock Car Extreme, today January 5th 2016 is the last day to buy it for its current price and also ensure a free copy of Automobilista. By its release, Automobilista will be priced US$ 39.99.
Starting tomorrow January 6th, Stock Car Extreme will have its base price dropped from US$ 29.99 to US$ 19.99 - however from then on it will no longer warrant a free copy of Automobilista.
So if you still don´t own Stock Car Extreme and are looking for a great deal, make sure to grab it now!

Stock Car Extreme v1.50 RELEASED - MUST READ release notes!
Stock Car Extreme V1.50 is now released!
This is a significant milestone build for us as it will be the first with executables compiled in-house - there are some substantial changes, so to ensure you do not encounter problems after updating It´s fundamental you take note of the information below.
IMPORTANT!!!
<*>Current users MUST create a fresh player profile (delete the old one from \USERDATA) otherwise the game won´t launch;
<*>New users MUST note that GSC Config may not launch directly from Steam, which will result in a Crashdump - run it from game install folder: \SteamApps\common\Stock Car Extreme (will be fixed in a following update).
<*>After creating a fresh profile, make sure to double-check your driving aids & controller speed sensitivity to make sure they match what you had before;
<*>If you get a crash on startup, make sure you have installed the DX9.0C that comes with the game (by running \Support\DirectX\Install\DXSETUP.exe);
<*>If you do the above and still crashes, or if you get a black screen when escaping from a session, delete d3d9.dll from the game root folder;
<*>If you get a blank screen after hitting escape from the track, delete d3d9.dll from the game root folder;
<*>Since there are several new parameters for both cars and tracks, it is possible that some MODs will not work 100% and will need to be updated to use the new features.
Please make sure to check the full release notes in the topic below here.
MIT Lancer Cup and Velo Cittá Preview Video!
The next upcoming addition to Stock Car Extreme is the officially licensed Mitsubishi Lancer Cup series, along with its official home - the Velo Cittá race track. These will feature in our next update, due to hit beta very soon!
Featuring 2 specs of race prepared Lancer Evos (the more conventional R with 300 HP, and the fully race-prepped RS with 340 HP), the Lancer Cup is dedicated for customer drivers adapting a "sit & drive" model, in which all cars are prepared to be identical and no setup adjustments are allowed.
The Velo Cittá circuit is the main venue for the series - this brand new, charming track is located in Mogi Guaçu (100km from São Paulo), and is along with Interlagos and Curitiba, only the third FIA-homologated race track in Brazil
Both the Lancer R & Lancer RS are the first AWD cars in the simulator . The cars are notoriously stable, allowing the driver to focus on maximizing his lines and driving as fast as possible.
Losing control with these cars is not easy, but as our test driver demonstrates towards the end of the video, in the right hands anything is possible :)
