From now until June 1, participate in the limited in-game event!
For the Hamartia Challenge, the game’s bosses will gain new resistances (while some will gain new weaknesses). Use the Sight Stone to aid you, but don’t get too comfortable: every day at noon (local time) these attributes change.
While boss immunities are random each day, they are the same for all players. Collaborate with others on the community Discord server to efficiently tackle these goals!
For the duration of the event, rerolling enchantments will cost 90% less Ki. Use this opportunity to experiment with each new day of rotating boss resistances.

Stone Story RPG's Hamartia Event Returns
An odd wind blows once again-- Challenge the bosses of the Dark World and their ever-changing nature during the upcoming Hamartia challenge!
For the Hamartia Challenge, the game’s bosses will gain new resistances (while some will gain new weaknesses). Use the Sight Stone to aid you, but don’t get too comfortable: every day at noon (local time) these attributes change.
Play the limited-time event from May 22 to June 1 and overcome the vile beasts lurking in the dark.

Rites & Acolytes Event Now Live (5/1 - 5/11)
Rites & Acolytes Event
From now until May 11, the Rites & Acolytes event will be live in Stone Story RPG. This is a reheat of the original event that was released with the Legend Quest “The Initiate”. Join the community discussion on our Discord server.
Event Details
- Complete the quest “The Initiate” to obtain the Cultist Mask.
- To proceed with the event, players must complete a series of goals. Each goal completed upgrades potential rewards received, which can include enchantments, Delta treasures, a shiny item, and an Emerald Egg.
- Each goal requires you to use the Cultist Mask in creative ways.
Glitch Cosmetic Set
We’re happy to share that thanks to the efforts of community member Citriondragon, a bounty has been filled for Glitch Cosmetics!
These items were created through our open-source initiative and are available to all players. Glitch Cosmetics can be earned from the Glitch treasure as well as the Golden treasure (obtained via referral codes).

Spring Equinox Event Now Live (Apr 10 - Apr 20)

Note: To start this event, you must complete the quest “Burnout”.
We emerge from our winter hibernation to bring you spring tidings, loot, and a 50% discount on Steam!

From now until April 20, the Spring Equinox Event will be live in Stone Story RPG-- complete runs in the Mushroom Forest to earn 2x loot.
This event also introduces the Balloon Shop!
Collect balloons by killing enemies with ranged weapons and spend them on limited-time rewards at this secret shop!
Be sure to join the Spring Equinox channel on the community Discord to work with other players towards clearing this event~ 🎈

"All Staff on Deck" Event Now Live (Mar 20 - Mar 30)
All Staff on Deck Event
A major update brings more changes to the Dark World!
Staves have gotten a major update with a set of new activated abilities!
- Acrobatic Staff (Stone): Swiftly dodge enemies to step out of harm’s way
- Grasping Staff (Aether): Bend space to increase your attack range
- Infernal Staff (Fire): Envelop yourself with infernal fire to increase attack speed and burn foes
- Eternity Staff (Ice): Encase yourself in ice to become immune to damage in exchange for immobility
- Berserker Staff (Poison): Become enraged to deal (and receive) increased damage
- Prevention Staff (Vigor): Prevent the next debuff that you would receive
In order to create these powerful new items:
- Fuse enchantments to your staff
- Reroll until your staff changes name and the activated ability appears
Note that staff abilities cost armor to activate!
Take staves to their maximum level with the in-game event that will run from March 20 to March 30
Complete event objectives to earn unique rewards! For the duration of the All Staff on Deck event:
- Bosses drop extra runes and wands
- Mutations are free

Staves are receiving a major update with a set of activated abilities, one per element. On March 20, take staves to their maximum level with the in-game event that will run from March 20 to March 30.

Danger in the Woods Event Now Live
Danger in the Woods Event
A foul wind blows once more from Deadwood Canyon
Within the rotted bark and branches of Xyloalgia, the wicked Poena emerges once more.
Event Dates: February 27 - March 9
Poena returns as a Phase 2 boss in the Xyloalgia fight. Crafty adventurers should carefully plan their strategies when facing her terrifying presence.
Be mindful of Poena’s Mirror mechanic: any debuff inflicted upon Poena will be reflected back to its source.
All runs in Deadwood Canyon for the duration of the event will yield 2x loot!
Temple Speedrunning Event
For the duration of the Nagaraja 2x Loot Event, the SSRPG Discord community will be hosting a speedrunning event, where you can win exclusive rewards!
