Item changes:


-Biowar Standby Case: Full infection halt, 1Pos/s, 0.5hp/s.
-S Class Stims: 20s duration, 50% dmg res., followed by 10s of pure negativity! Can be interrupted/re-stimmed at any time, as per previous version.

Unit changes:


-Geist's healing lamp now functions at 2hp/s

General fixes/changes:


-vs. INFC stats under the [TACTICAL] pane now reads properly
(0-99% is how much the rate of infection growth is retarded. 100% still reflects full resistance.)
-more items' descriptions retuned for greater statistical detail
-Being in a negative financial state no longer prevents you from hiring "free" units.
-tutorial missing movement icon image fixed
-Ruin Site Dark Sector now only available after 263 kills, around the Monster Hunt mission.

Quality of Life additions and Fixes!

Quality of Life additions


-[R] will become a shortcut for [R]eload. Hitting the Reload function on a unit will also trigger a reload on any other unit selected.
-Sca[N]ner to be changed to [N]
-Option to Stop Forcefiring on LMB release.

-Additional Tutorial elements and text updates/changes
-Some Items have updated descriptions, such as Biowar Standby cases.
-Static Shields now have enhanced anti-ballistic coverage, especially to the sides, and when carried.

- Cryopodding range extended (should help some on Heartbreaker as well c:)

Fixes


-Decon Showers, Chestlamps (Decon team, geist etc) and Healing lamps (Biowar team) no longer erratic and now confer modifiers at the original rate (Recent Unity update made it wonky, sorry)

-Spawners should no longer spawn under partial overhangs, especially Ruin Sites.

Hold-to-forcefire is now an option

The option to toggle can be found in Settings. We didn't want to make it a default UX setting as we still stand by its utility, and also as a continued benefit to our touchscreen users. :)

[F] key remains as the shortcut to the command.

Permanent Upgrades are now permanent


Sorry! Fixed bodybags not saving correctly, the itemslot/equipslot status of the unit it belongs to, and upon reviving losing the slots of said unit.

General UIUX tweaks


- Textfield updates/corrections in locker and dispensers.
- Added mention of what R-Points are for as well as what Red Sites generally represent when talking to Cpl Diu.
-Hold-to-Forcefire now togglable in settings!

You may now interact 'through' the info-overlay. Overlay backing sprite has been edited to help facilitate a balance of legibility and transparency.

Introducing Ruin Sites / New Enemies / New items /CryoPod upgrade!

Ruin Sites



Ruin Sites are Mission Sites featuring a range of "practically random" to "semi-random" layouts tailored to the threats commanders will be encountering in them.This should afford near-limitless replayability where geometry-oriented tactics is concerned. Some Ruin sites even come with entirely random Spawns.

New Strain Threats



5 new Mechanised Strain and the Cloaker Strain have been introduced to the roster of foes. Mechanised Strain are essentially Combat Drones infested with Strain. Yeah, that happened. :/

New Items



The Carry Slot+1 and Weapon Slot+1 upgrades permanently allow commanders to upgrade their units. Locate these items at any Medical Dispenser.

Cryopod Upgrade



Due to popular demand, the Cryopod now accomodates 4 more pages or 20 more pods for your reserves.

RUIN SITES INCOMING

A little something something I'm working on for our next major update :) Think of it as a site generator. System is working fine so far. Can't wait!

A New Beginning!

Thanks to the generous feedback since launch, we have added two brand-new tutorial missions to assist the more... casual commander out there improve their helibase onboarding experience :) Namely in the areas of Docking/Undocking as well as Gunnery.

-New map added: "Lock & Load"
-New map added: "Danger Close"
-New Medical Team (Recon Class) team member given on "Lock & Load"
-Free heliweapon ammo on "Danger Close"

Other Tweaks



-Heli-docking sequence now features the docking timer underneath the docking shadow as opposed to the mission objectives.
-Heliweapon FX and params edited in response to changes in a new version of Unity which we are using.
-Flamer FX edited as per new Unity params.
-Friendly UNIPOL / CSWAT now no longer abductable on Neurocity.
-FPS is now unlocked!

A tiny boost to newcomers :)

Academy tweaks


Vine, your second gifted unit comes decorated with medals to help with initial encumberance and stats.

The helibase locker starts with an extra flare pistol next to the cut-down shotgun.
