Stray Blade is an Action RPG where you play a rogue Adventurer exploring the ancient Valley of Acrea with your companion Boji. In an Action-RPG it is important that the player can immerse themselves in the game. Not only in the world, but especially into the character they are playing. Therefore, we spent countless hours of work to ensure there is no disconnect between the player’s action and those of their character.
The combat experience in Stray Blade is unlike in any other game. With a wide variety of different ways to engage combat, the player must constantly decide which fighting style suits the given situation best.
To dictate the direction of battles, our players have a variety of different fighting styles. Our combat system allows quick reactions, precise attacks, and of course devastating blows. We combined strategic anticipation of enemy attacks with multiple ways to counter them.
Our weapons are unique in their use. They must be fully mastered before reaching their full potential. No matter with what style the player wants to approach the game, Stray Blade will have the right weapon for it. That combined with fluid animations and epic cinematic finishers, the player truly gets the unique combat experience.

Hello Stray Blade Fans,
It’s been some time since we have announced our publishing partnership with 505 Games and we would like to take this opportunity to officially say welcome to Acrea!
Point Blank Games is an independent development studio based in the heart of Berlin, Germany. The studio was originally founded by Leonard (CEO & Game Director) and Sara Kausch (COO) in 2016.
During the development of our first project, we learnt all the ins and outs and are now able to use our knowledge to make Stray Blade a unique experience. We always had the vision to develop an Action RPG which combines a fast and tight combat with metroidvania elements in an exploration focused world. This makes you revisit locations to unlock new areas, all whilst those locations develop over time and grant you both a feeling of ownership and novelty as the environmental stories of these locations unfold.
We started working on Stray Blade 4 years ago. Back then we were five people in a super small office who decided it was time to build the team`s signature game. The design of Stray Blade was carefully crafted around the strong skills of every team member and with a shared vision that everybody fully supported.
Over the time, we grew our team up to 25 people and we are still growing. Even though our office is based in Berlin, we also have some staff members working remotely from all over the world.
As you can imagine we are quite busy with the game development at the moment, but rest assured we will keep you posted with all upcoming news around Stray Blade!

One of Stray Blade’s pillars is exhilarating exploration, which is elevated by adding Metroidvania elements with intense Soulslike combat. Traversing the world of Stray Blade will reward you with rare crafting materials and blueprints, but you will also gain access to secret passages through the ever-changing landscape. These secret passages will give you options when approaching your objectives. Specific abilities will allow you to backtrack and explore areas that you were not able to explore previously.
