Patch 0.6 for demo is live!

We've decided to add some additional system improvements, character movement, player guidance, and a few other minor tweaks.

Here is your full breakdown on what the new Stray Souls demo update fixed, changed and improved:

- Added input mapping to the pause menu, since some of you didn't knew which button to use.

- Reworked gameplay camera to be more cinematic and previously it made some gameplay moments very difficult, especially in combat when camera was clipping with other objects. It's fixed now.

- Improved movement system so now it's way more fluid and responsive.

- Added new objective system so know you can press a button to check your current objective.

- Changed blood vfx.

- Fixed aiming bug.


Patch 0.5 for demo is live!

We're proud to inform you that in this update from now on, you can move character while aiming with a gun! We know that many of you wanted this feature, so we decided to add it immediately.

Here is your full breakdown on what the new Stray Souls demo update fixed, changed and improved:

- From now on while you are in aiming mode, you can move the character.

- Disabled SteamVR plugin which prevented some of us from opening up the game in correct way.

- Rewritten code for turning a character's head. From now on, it does not rotate it in a strange way, but in the correct natural looking way.

- Removed one barrier which sometimes caused AI enemies to block on it.

Stray Souls pre-launched Kickstarter!

We can't describe how happy we are with your support, feedback and involvement in improving the Stray Souls. We recently decided to open a poll on our Twitter and asked you if you would support us in a kickstarter campaign. Over 70% of you chose option yes, which gave us an extra kick to start thinking about the campaign in earnest. Less than a week later we come to you with good news, you will soon be able to support us on Kickstarter! In addition, as a thank you for your support and our constant desire to improve the project, we have decided to finally change the character movement animations and rewrite the code from scratch.
