Hey everyone! We've got a few enhancements coming your way:
Fixed physics on the final level.
The controller diagram has been moved closer to the menu.
Adjusted the visual effect on collector cubes to avoid lighting issues in certain levels.
Fixed a certain level getting unlocked in level select before it should.
Shrank leaderboard to the correct size.
There's a few more changes we are working on that should be coming soon:
A few enhancements around the sounds effects and music.
Fixing an issue where people get trapped inside sticky stars.
Some fixes to our achievement logic.
Adding more integrity checks to make sure leaderboard times are legitimate.
Alternate control schemes to avoid using "joystick down" as the brake button.
Lastly a huge thank you all from the Straylight team! We all appreciate helpful feedback and will continue to keep an eye on any enhancements and fixes that may come up in the future.

Straylight - The Hitbox Update
We have heard your feedback and now we have some changes to the game that we are excited to share with you.
New Stuff
Level 6 has been extended. Due to this change in the level's length we've reset the leaderboards for this level, since it takes longer to clear now.
An explanation of the controls (controller diagram) has been added to the level select room to show what each button on your controller does.
Changes
<*> Every hitbox has been overhauled. Collisions should now feel a lot more fair. This applies to both obstacles as well as collectables. <*> Your speed drop off after letting go of a grapple is a lot more gradual. No longer will you immediately plummet to the ground the second you let go of your grapple, instead you'll follow a steady curve.
(the old hitbox system, for reference)
Fixes
Issues with lag causing the game to grind the player to a halt and push them downwards heavily have been patched. The game should be a lot more playable even while experiencing frame drops now.
Free Demo
Alongside these changes we have also released a free demo of the game that includes a couple of the levels in the full title. We know how hard it is to tell whether a VR game is going to be "good" or not from just videos and screenshots, so we want to give a first hand experience to anyone interested in it.
The game is also 50% off in celebration of these changes.
What's Next
Now that we've gotten these technical adjustments out of the way we will be heads down on putting together more levels.
As we roll these levels out we will also be focusing on other features like Steam Achievements and some unlockable secrets for collecting those golden cubes.
From the entire Straylight team we thank you for checking out our game and hope to continue to deliver an enjoyable VR experience to you all.
