Custom bodywork will randomly be discounted at auto shops!
The discount is typically -25%, with some exceptions. The discounts make the prices similar to stock equivalents.
Discounts are applied per bodykit (same grouping as for coloring).
Discount RNG is re-rolled every couple races won.
Value of purchased discounted parts is permanently reduced - this means you can't sell them for profit, but repairs will be cheaper.
Why only bodykits? Because discounting these doesn't screw with career balance, as performance characteristics of these parts are largely identical to stock.
Exhaust & related
Added dual exhaust variant for Zed. This will come by default with supercharged cars featuring the dual header.
Added another variant of rear bumper 3, with dual exhaust cutouts.

Disabled SL2 exhaust tip N2O particle effect (style consistency).
For modders & creative cheaters: SL2 exhaust tips can now be attached to stock SL1 exhausts. Use the new garage cheat "NOISEBOMB" to allow them to show up in the Catalog for SL1 cars; You'll then want to use the "PEGAWRENCH" cheat to move them into better-looking positions, as clearly the stock pipes weren't designed for this :D For context, these normally-hidden parts are shipped with the game for use by imported SL2 cars (see car_convert folder).
Options
Added options to set preferred garage & driving camera modes (first person/classic, first person/hood/bumper/chase); You'll be automatically switched to the chosen camera / interaction mode upon entering the relevant section! You can also leave these as "NONE", retaining current behavior.

Update Aug.30.2024
Increased loss/caught wear penalties applied by Junkman mode, but added a 40% chance of any given part being unaffected. This makes for more interesting of a dice roll.
No Race Setup show delay if both racers are honking at each other.
Wheel repair (tyre replacement) now has a fixed minimum price, with additional cost depending on rim damage from impacts - repair at 15% condition or below will end up cheaper than before the update, while redundantly replacing good condition tyres will eat your cash very quickly. Besides added immersion, a goal of this change is to reward taking risks continuing to race with worn tyres, as means to minimize maintenance costs.
Similar concept applies to brake and spring repairs.
Different formatting for reverse gear ratio readout inside CarInfo, making transmission data a little easier to read.
Memory management improvements for shops & various parts.

CarInfo
RPM limit indicator now indicates the full operational range of the engine: Idle to limit!
Adjusted starting points of HP & torque graphs.

No more trash wheel radius values shown for missing wheels.

Patch for inaccurate ground clearance values. The detection is still not perfect, and the patch only applies to vanilla cars. We hope to deliver a proper fix in a later update.
