The first video preview has finally arrived! It has some imperfections as there are still many things to improve in the game.
All HUD warning lights are working, but since there's no battery charge, ABS or engine condition indication yet, these lights stay inactive
Proper boost pressure calculation is not implemented and you can notice that
Fuel consumption formula does not include things like fuel quality or air/fuel ratio, it's something to be improved later
Mileage has a so called "mileage factor", because ingame time runs faster. This behavior repeats odometer from the Street Legal
PRND display is an option for automatic transmissions and you can always switch back to the ordinary digital gear indication
Car lights are switched on manually and I think the game should include an automatic option
Rev limiter has adjustable cut delay
Vehicle physics and gearbox behavior are not final and will be updated later
Another update
More streets to explore, more nice views.
City updates
The city is getting more detailed and that means we'll see some new gameplay videos this year :)
Progress on the game
Hello everyone!
Development takes much longer time than expected, but now it's very important to NOT give up and keep crossing fingers! Turner Hills is coming and here are some previews of this city:

You are our heroes! We'd also like to thank those fans of garage tuning and street racing who have added the game to their wishlist, it's over 15000 Steam wishlist additions so far!
Everything you do inspires us to continue working on the game. It's still a hard time and there are a lot of challenges to fight against: development team is very small and people join and leave frequently, funding is extremely limited, game has high quality standards, there are also other projects that need attention, etc. We believe in success anyway ːthepistonː
So what's happening now? Arists spent a lot of time on preparing the assets, so now we have something to play with. Entire project is split into several smaller games that we'd like to combine into a single demo and release to our ULTIMATE Patreon supporters. Their feedback will help improving a public early access version of Street Tuning Evolution in the future.
Update
I got a great advice to post some updates right into Steam newsletter of Street Tuning Evolution, so here we go. First of all, 4 bodykits for Skyline confirmed:
You could use decals to make paintjobs just like in Street Legal:
Exterior work for the Supra is almost finished:
Engines could be disassembled to about 40 parts with some nice level of detail:
I'll keep posting more news from time to time. If you ilke this project, add it to your wishlist or visit our Patreon page
Screenshots on Steam store page
We decided to put some early alpha screenshots to Steam store of the game, so don't get scared of some unfinished things that may appear there, it's normal for a game that is currently in development.
Demo version is expected to have 2 cars included: Nissan Skyline BNR34 and Toyota Supra JZA80. Each car will have 2-3 bodykits and their engines will be broken down into ~45 parts. We're currently working hard on making the content, there are some gameplay elements done already, but still many things to do.
You can also find our Street Tuning Evolution group on facebook to access more frequent updates. If you didn't tell your friends about this game yet, please do, you'll help us a lot!
Thank you for your support!
