  • The Golden Orb is much less likely to spawn progression items (orange)
  • Made several edits to the Feral Root’s attacks:

    • It’s nettle attack now phases through walls
    • The nettle attack now also shoots more nettles on average
    • Feral Root attacks more often in general
    • The feral fumers now only last 15 seconds

  • Increased Muck’s bullet spread to 12 (from 6) to make him less of a sharpshooter and also to make him rely a little more on his passive and active abilities
  • Increased Muck’s magnetism radius to 4 meters (from 3)
  • HolGil no longer triggers the screenshake
  • Fixed Creation Clay only adding extra charges if you have 0 consumables
  • Reworked the progression item spawns in Crystalline Flats; enemies will now instead have a chance to drop the currently required item for the Crystal Infuser. So enemies will only drop Lectrinium Wire (when the item rolls as orange) until you place the wire on the infuser and then they will only drop Insulated Pyllarite
  • Placing the parts on the Crystal Infuser now removes that item from the Subject’s inventory
  • Crystal Capacitors are now added to the drop pool after the first capacitor has been crafted

Additions



  • The Kushtaka no longer uses Mantle Destroyer’s health bar and has it’s own custom bar
  • Added a new unlockable ultimate ability for Subject: Muck - Celestial Body, unlockable via the ‘Smashing!’ achievement
  • Added custom crosshairs for all subjects
  • Added a new attack/function for the Crystalline Contraption: Overheat - If the Contraption uses too many attacks in a short succession, it will overheat and have to open up it’s core then spray itself with two cryo blasts which may harm the subject if too close.

Fixes



  • Increased the base chance for Holographics Card to trigger to 10% (From 6%)
  • Fixed Kushtaka’s teleportation attack crashing the game

    • Slight rework to Crystalline Construct’s Lectrinium Beam attack

  • Added an animation and sound effects to when the Crystalline Beacon is activated

Subject: Relictus v0.6.0.1 Fixes


  • Filled in and fixed all the holes that were in the Arid Boneyard, Crystalline Flats, and Feral Grove stage's terrain collisions, thus preventing items or even players from getting stuck inside unreachable areas in each stage
  • Redrew the set spawnzones for ground enemies to more evenly distribute spawns and to prevent larger enemies, like Boulder Beasts from being stuck inside a wall when spawning
  • Reverted the GMS version to a previous version more compatible with Steam's functions. Thus re-enabling steam functions and steam achievements.
  • Reimplemented some of the sound effects as some sounds were not working due to a previous corruption issue

  • Added Rime Golem's passive ability: Bound by Science - Upon death, Rime Golem will lose all his items, but maintain experience level and swap to a new subject: Morena Phraust.


Fixes



  • Reduced the difficulty scalar of each difficulty. The game now increases difficulty a little slower and runs start off a little easier as well
  • All items now drop 10% more often
  • Added a visual effect for the geomancy manual
  • Reworked some of the items that deal damage, like the tactical grenade launcher. Damage of such items now scale with player’s damage-enhancements
  • Static Brick’s extra attack now applies the electro effect for 6 seconds
  • Ancient Bark now properly heals ALL allies within the circle (It previously would heal the first ally to enter the circle)
  • The camera now shakes when the player takes damage
  • Buffed Eggnog’s regeneration to 0.5hp/sec (From 0.3hp/sec)
  • Buffed Feral Fruit’s health increase to 20hp each (From 10hp)
  • Buffed Lost Sole’s speed increase to 2% each (From 1% each)
  • Leveling up now increases health by 20% of base hp and not 20 flat hp
  • Tactical Grenade Launcher now also increases blast radius of grenades by 10% per launcher
  • Redesigned the molten canyon map layout due to an error corrupting the original map file
  • Reworked the lava in the Molten Canyon to be a little easier to escape
  • Fixed Holo-Gil crashing the game when having on-kill items
  • Cryo damage now deals 1 damage per second per stack
  • Cryo damage will no longer inflict freeze and only slows victims down to a minimum of 0.2 speed
  • Added a maximum particle count to avoid the game slowing down due to excessive particles
  • Reduced the spawn cooldown range for enemies (Enemies will spawn approximately 20% more often)
  • Burning Infection puddles are no longer permanent and only last 15 seconds

Attacks have a 10% chance to apply 1 stack of cryo for 2 seconds

Electromancy Manual


Lightning always strikes at the darkest times.
Rarity: Rare
Killing enemies has a 12% chance to strike a random enemy with lightning, affecting them with electro and dealing high damage

Heart-Shaped Box


You never know what you're gonna get.
Rarity: Legendary
Enemies drop truffles on kill that increase a random stat when picked up, buffs only last for the current stage

Suspicious Clock


Forever Snooze
Rarity: Consumable
Drops a bomb with a 5 second fuse that creates a massive explosion, damaging ALL entities

Cracked Iozinite

Release a shockwave that will launch all enemies around you in an upward direction

Rarity: Prototype
Grants infinite consumables, but each time you use it, your consumable item is randomized
(Collecting additional Shapeless Entities allows subjects to use consumables more than just once.)

Necromancy Manual


Not to be confused with the Necronomicon.
Rarity: Prototype
Grants another life, and consumes 1 upon use. But each time you revive you have a permanent -10% health downgrade,
(Subjects cannot drop below 10hp from Necromancy Manual's health downs. Additional Necromancy Manuals grant additional lives.)
