October Update 2020 [v0.4.4] with achievements and more
Hello everyone,
in this update I have added the first achievements. There are still some in stock and in the next updates I will add them.
The new design of the minimap is also part of this update. The Zoom In/Out buttons or with the left mouse button pressed down you can move the map or with the right mouse button you can jump to the desired position.
In the new update there are also some minor improvements, e.g. I have adjusted the mouse points for terraforming and the terraforming area function now also works over buildings.

September Update 2020 [v0.4.3] with Tutorial and more
Hello together,
after a short summer break we continue with new features.
Today I am happy to present you the Tuto.....uh the Manager Certificate: It contains approximately all relevant topics. But you won't be told everything and you have to find out the best strategies by yourself. With the certificate we want to make it easier for you to enter the hard business world of tourism in Summer Islands. It should be a kind of tour through all important topics and of course we will write a written exam at the end 😉

Another point is the intro story we created. It will start at the beginning of every match and should bring you better into the game. Have a look at it and feel free to send us your feedback. *You can skip it with spacebar
The last bigger point are the achievements. As you might have noticed, there are a few new ones in Steam. No these are not implemented yet. But this won't be that much work anymore and will be done in the next weeks.

Workshop Update [v.0.4.1] with Steam Workshop and more
Hello everyone,
it's time: We would like to present you the workshop for Summer Islands. You can create and edit any kind of map in the Map Editor, add many complex events, show official missions to the player and upload them to the Steamworkshop. So you can create your most creative maps and share them with your friends.
As mentioned before, the Map Editor allows you to display any event as an Official Mission to the players. The event name is shown as mission with percentage and by clicking on the magnifying glass you can see the conditions of the event with details.
Additionally you can now play the maps from the MapEditor with as many BOTS as you like.
In the MapEditor we have added another condition. The time condition. This allows you to start events from a certain time.

We are very happy that the first architecture has been implemented and we can build on it. The goal is to be able to build campaigns from it and upload them to the Steam Workshop ;)
So test the map editor, look forward to the future updates and have FFUUUUUNNNNN with your maps.

we released Summer Islands on Steam in Early Access. We are happy that we have made it so far with your support. We know that there is still a lot to do. But for today we can take a moment of joy and enj oy the beautiful sight of the many updates of the last months.
