Update v40 - Balance changes and bugfixes
We have a bunch of bugfixes and changes for you! For a full list of all changes including pet and food changes check in game.
Bug fixes and general changes: Added UI scale settings. Changed Versus Rank to always be updated immediately upon completion. Changed battle speed with Fast Forward to be slighty slower. Changed Fast Forward Factor to a slider. Changed pets so they can max copy up to 5 abilities. Removed unplayed Versus queues. Fixed Vanilla Bean not scaling with Fox levels. Fixed Giant Tortoise's attack going above 50. Fixed Giant Pangasius causing different battle results in versus. Fixed jump attackers with several before attack triggers causing different battle results in versus. Fixed Seagull giving perks to jump attacking pets who faint. Fixed visual issues with jump attacks and effects that set stats. Fixed Bonobo being able to transform into itself. Fixed Marine Iguana not spending its triggerlimits on African Wild Dogs summoned from Takhi. Fixed Marine Iguana not getting its level greyed out when exhausted by jump attacks. Fixed multi-jump visual glitches. Fixed Seaweed not triggering on jump attacks from White Truffle. Fixed Golden Retriever not summoning if trumpets are gained from hurt abilities. The Danger Pack has been released!
A long time ago now, we had the idea for a pack that highlights and celebrates endangered animals. That pack - The Danger Pack - is now finally here!
We spent a lot of time squeezing out new gameplay mechanics that don't stray too far from the old mechanics of the game. Lots of experiments, failures, retries, redoes. This pack has been a very long time in the making.

v38 release - Bugfixes & balance changes!
Small update with mostly bug fixes. A few balance changes were also made. Android and iOS will release once we know that everything is working as intended.
Fixed Giant Isopod not working with zero trumpets. Fixed Ibex sometimes not working. Fixed Slime always making 2/2 baby slimes. Fixed Lynx using enemy levels. Fixed Leech turning temporary stats into permanent stats. Fixed Mana sometimes not being fully used. Fixed Akhlut not working with fainted pet behind. Fixed Markhor giving stats to maxed out pets. Fixed Real Velociraptor wasting triggers on fainted friends. Fixed inconsistent "Before Attack" trigger order for perks.

A new update has landed! The big changes are:
Rebalanced many pets. (Check in game for details)
Added Mini Pack #2 which unlocks even more content for custom packs.
Added label to players using wild custom packs in private matches.
Added new life loss system to private versus matches.
Added payment for IAP and subscriptions to the Itch version.
Changed Mushroom and Pteranodon to remember remaining triggers.
Changed versus timer to also appear in the final battle.
Fixed Crumbled Paper not being random.
v36 - New pets for custom packs!
- Added Standard and Wild formats for custom packs. - Added many new free pets and food to custom packs. - Added Mini Pack #1 which unlocks even more content for custom packs. - Changed custom packs and weeklies to have 3 food on tier 1. - Changed hard mode toys and you now choose from 3. - Changed level-ups that go from 1 directly to 3 will count as two level-ups. - Changed perks to also trigger "food eaten" abilities when gained. - Changed Versus leaderboard to show the top 25 players intead of 10.
Update 35 - Unicorn balance
Greetings pet appreciators. A big balance patch has landed on top of the Unicorn Pack, hopefully bringing up to the power level of Turtle pack. In addition to that, there is also the following:
- Added so you can right-click on pets while building custom packs to see related pets/food/perks. - Added "replay last battle" button to the game over menu. - Changed all types of perk damage and ability damage to be considered the same. - Changed Parrot + Abomination to be way less overpowered. - Changed the timings on some animations - Fixed several Velociraptors stealing strawberries not removing the strawberries from the pets stolen from. - Fixed several Siamese sometimes moving food into the wrong positions in the food shop. - Fixed Real Velociraptor replacing crisp. - Fixed visual errors with jumping pets - Fixed visual errors when several pets get summoned and moved at the same time - Fixed pets summoned before battle not triggering their start of battle abilities. - Fixed multiple toys causing different outcomes in versus. - Fixed toy ability cards appearing behind pets. - Fixed right-click sometimes freezing and unfreezing at the same time.
Update 34 - Star pack reworked
Here is a really big star shaped update coming at you! Star Pack has received a serious facelift, both aesthetically and mechanically. We hope you like the new more developed archetypes. But the train won't stop there. We have another surprise for you sometime next week and it is going to be a wacky one.
- Reworked Star Pack. - Added option to gift packs to your friends. - Added rank decay so +1800 rank players loses 10/day after 7 inactive days. - Added ability to freeze shop items by right clicking. - Added timeout for players who leave or abandon aggressively in Versus. - Added custom rule for Versus games so players can see their next opponent. - Changed art of some pets and made slight adjustments to others. - Changed perks to use the same visual language as abilities. - Fixed Warf not completing all abilities if it faints during. - Fixed Basilisk not activating when fainted. - Fixed Manticore not working with Ink. - Fixed Nyala and Monty hat positions. - Fixed Crisp being doubled on Panther. - Fixed Manticore working while Dazed. - Fixed Cornucopia having missing text. - Fixed Goldfish losing sell value on transform. - Fixed Sneaky Egg always summoning Cracked Egg in battle on faint. - Fixed Witch Broom not working properly with Chameleon. - Fixed Mana Hound + Warf dealing damage with zero rolls.

Please note that there are two known bugs in this version.
- Health Potion ability text is wrong. It does not scale with levels. - Spooked Perk does not have translations.
Unicorn pack released!
Our fourth expansion has released! It is our absolute favorite so far and also the biggest, featuring 84 new mythological pets in addition to all those that can only be summmoned. It also introduces the new mana mechanic that is used to fuel certain pet abilities.
Day/Night Backgrounds
Every single dingle background now has a night-time variant. Days are on odd-numbered turns, and night is on even-numbered turns. You can also force constant day or night backgrounds in the settings menu.
Balance update
Pigs summoned by Wolf are always level 1.
Super Auto Pets Plus subscribers can force the name auto-picker to be random.

Got one final balance update before the release of the expansion pack! In addition to the balance changes, we also fixed the following bugs:
