Outfits, Expanded Story & Early Access Rewards
We are excited to announce that we are currently working on expanding the character outfit options in our game, along with adding new story elements to enhance your gaming experience.
Player customization is an important aspect of any game, as it allows players to express their individuality and personal preferences. Being able to customize your character's appearance and outfits makes the game more immersive, and helps players feel more invested in the world they are playing in.
Most of these skins will be available for everyone, for free but a few ones will reserved as an exclusive rewards for early access backers. Thanks so much for your support!
Finally, the story is the heart of any game, as it provides the framework for the world and the events that take place within it. The more detailed and engaging the story is, the more invested players become in the game and its characters. Expanding the story elements helps to deepen the lore of the game, providing players with more opportunities to explore the world and uncover its secrets.
We are excited to share these new developments with you, and hope that they enhance your experience in our game. We believe this new free content should be ready in about two weeks. Stay tuned for more updates!
Beta translations for multiple languages have been added and users are encouraged to provide feedback on any issues or improvements that can be made!
Besides English, we now support the following languages:
Spanish [es-US]
French [fr-FR]
Chinese (Simplified)
German
Russian
Japanese
Portuguese (Brazil)
Thai
Italian (Italy)
Translations will have mistakes and we apologize in advance! If you are fluent in other languages, help us by tweaking some words or phrases, to have a higher quality translation for people in your country.
Select your language at start up, or at any time via Options Menu.
Here's a list of other fixes/improvements.
Death feedback for robot spiders has been improved
UI has been tweaked to improve readability
AI reactions in certain scenarios have been slightly improved.
Levels have been adjusted to make some jumps easier and to improve cutscenes.
The ship battle feature has been improved to have better destruction.
A bug with the silencer not being applied on a weapon after a level change has been fixed.
The shiv uses have been increased and campfire music has been added.
An experimental dynamic grass feature has been added to level 5, which reacts to player movement and bullets and features different footstep sounds based on the player's velocity. We are considering adding this feature to the whole game if feedback is positive.
Next updates will address campfire's experience, lore and player customization.
Multi-language support enhances the experience for non-English speakers, or for those that feel more comfortable speaking in another language.
A week ago we officially started working on this by translating thousands of words. We believe we will have a beta for languages in about 3 weeks.
Besides English, we will be supporting the following languages:
Spanish [es-US]
French [fr-FR]
Chinese (Simplified)
German
Russian
Japanese
Portuguese (Brazil)
Thai
Italian (Italy)
This list will, of course, expand as user requests more languages.
We are a small indie company, 100% self-funded, but if things continue to go well, we would like to hire voice actors for full voice-over support for other languages, especially Spanish.
Translations will have mistakes and we apologize in advance! If you are fluent in other languages, help us by tweaking some words or phrases, to have a higher quality translation for people in your country.
If you would like us to support another language, please make sure to leave feedback & suggestions in our Steam Community Hub or in our Discord server!
Officially added bandages and are introduced with a cutscene that teaches the player how to craft and use one.
Level5's intro section was modified to allow cutscene to happen. Also added new collectible in that new section.
Improved character movement speed on certain situations.
Tweaked crafting requirements so player cannot accidentally spend resources on other things, when a bandage or a jetpack is needed. This will avoid soft-lock situations.
We will keep improving the campfire. Bugs will take priority but in next updates we will try to introduce outfits!
We were forced to rush an update due issues on progression. Rolling this change back is additional work, so we pushed things as is. We are planning to improve the campfire experience, so players are now able to craft bandages. This needs to be explained better in a future update, but is okay enough for the time being.
Fixed issue where players can't craft a Jetpack because they already got one.
Players are now able to craft bandages. Hold V on keyboard, Dpad Down on gamepad. This will be explained better in the next update.
New resource type: cloth. Used to craft bandages. They can be looted from dead corpses (those already present in the world, not from kills)
Fixed Locator not being able to be picked up if touched angled surfaces.
Removed screen shake for footsteps.
Ammo boxes will have a light indicator for when are filled/empty.
Made easier to pick drops.
Fixed collision issues on level6.
Fixed instances where player can shoot weapons while drawing.
Fixed hostages "dissapearing". While not exactly a bug, they won't run away so players don't think it's a bug.
Replaced zip lines for horizontal moving platforms, until we can come up with a better solution.
Robot won't shoot enemies, when using a lookout, in stealth mode. This caused a few issues but is now fixed.
Silencers are now more effective.
Small level tweaks.
Thanks @Silentrets and @firestarter109 for helping out fixing issues. We fixed everything we can replicate, but for those very very very rare bugs we welcome any type of information to help us solve it.
We will keep squashing bugs and they always take priority.
Also thanks to @Widmer for helping out with concepts for Episode 2.
As there's enough demand, we will focus on creating a good campfire experience first, but we will work on multiple languages and keyboard/gamepad rebinds in the future.
