Super Island God VR is finally out of early access!



Super Island God VR is finally out of early access! This release adds the final desert biome level - flex your management skills to build your population as quickly as you can, but beware the pirate ghosts! This release also includes a bunch of performance, balance, and quality of life fixes, including a new spell that will let you heal damaged buildings and villagers!

Features:

  • Added the final desert island level.
  • Added a "Restore" spell that heals buildings and villagers. This spell is available for all levels.
  • Added health bars to buildings, and changed their behavior so they're always visible until the villager or building are healed.
  • Builders automatically assign themselves as workers after completing construction.
  • Added a saw toy to the lumber-yard.
  • Added a player height adjustment slider to the options.
  • Added teleport movement mode


Bugs & Polish:

  • The "Restart level" option in the pause menu will actually restart the level rather than quit to the main menu.
  • Optimized frame rate.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing saved settings from applying on startup.
  • Eliminated render artifacts with the water when MSAA was enabled.
  • Fixed a bug where food consumption was incorrectly tripled in level 5.
  • Fixed a UI issue that caused missed input with slider bars.
  • Fixed flickering on the hand options in the main menu.
  • Adjusted the size of the level islands and other text on the main menu level to make things more readable.
  • Force spawn a villager to auto-build a dock on the second tier in level 5.
  • Fixed the medium hut.
  • Increased volcano eruption delay by 10 seconds.
  • Volcano eruptions only cause a guaranteed fire for one building.
  • Improved the responsiveness of the rotate and zoom gestures.

Super Island God VR revived!

The torch has been passed to new management at Empyrean Interactive and Super Island God VR is being revived! Behind the scenes we've been hard at work resurrecting the game and adding additional content and polish.

We're happy to announce these changes will be coming very soon, and Super Island God VR will finally leave Early Access!

Super Island God VR version 0.3 released

Hey folks,

We apologize for the delay in pushing this update to the game. We've been struggling with issues on the side that have prevented us from working on the title as much as we'd like. We've now pushed our .3 update up which focuses on bugfixes and some usability tweaks to improve the VR experience.

Super Island God VR 0.3 release notes

- Player movement has been overhauled to reduce motion-sickness and improve responsiveness.

-A teleport-to-move option has been added for players who prefer that locomotion method.

-The player's god-like powers have been expanded to allow them to place resources safely back in the ground after being grabbed. Simply hold a tree or rock close to the ground and release when you see the indicator.

-A small assortment of bugfixes.
