Magnet Monday
"Greetings, fellow robots!
This is Magnet Monday, your guide to the magnets that you'll encounter across various levels on your journey to save the galaxy in Super Magbot."
Fragile Magnets
Do not let these Magnets get in your way! Shoot at them using the opposite colour with your magnetic ray to get propelled and smash through them - use the same colour to propulse Magbot off. It's always fun to break things, but be aware that fragile magnets won't be merged back once they are broken!
Platform Magnets
Watch your footing! Step carefully when you encounter platform magnets, even the slightest, minimal contact will collapse them down. These magnets require for you to shoot your ray, FAST. Make sure you don't meander about for too long, or you'll fall into the abyss. However, they do respawn after a few seconds -- so if you absolutely need to back track, you can. (Or just fall and perish).
Jumper Magnets
These dual-layered Magnets can be used to make impressive jumps! This is where I really begin to turn heads and dazzle spectators! If you are brave enough, shoot at them using the same color to perform a big, long jump across the level. Use the opposite color to perform a short one, in case you are afraid of heights. Please, check the roof before jumping...
Here I am, performing at my best. What's new? Just a regular day at the office.
Bubble Magnets
You'll exclusively encounter bubble magnets in places with sub-zero temperatures, like Mag Zero - brrr; it's freezing over there! Bubble magnets function as if they were air bubbles, they float in the air and plateau, waiting for Super Magbot. Use the opposite colour to enter the magnet - once inside the Magnet, use the opposite colour to get propulsed forward; or use the same colour if you want to get propulsed backwards.
Cloud Magnets
Occasionally, when the temperatures are at scorching heights, the Magnetic dust from the air can merge into a Cloud Magnet! As this Magnet is made of dust, you can't collide against it. Use the same colour to get propulsed off - and use the opposite colour to get attracted through the cloud magnet. Try to shoot just after reaching the cloud to perform two jumps in a row!
Sounds easy, right? Well, maybe for me - but I'm unsure whether you're up to the challenge..... I guess you'll have to prove me wrong.
