GAME BALANCE MODIFICATIONS
Ventorus Ventorus's two core modules weren't helping the mecha enough, and the secondary weapon's damage was underwhelming considering its recharge time. Therefore, we decided to make the following changes: 1. Decreased recharge time for secondary weapon from 1.5s to 1s; 2. Core Module I gained the new ability of reclaiming an extra movement skill when changing to Berserk Dragon form; 3. Core Module II revamped to significantly increase the damage dealt by secondary weapon, plus greater radius and explosion area for air sphere when charged.
Raven The recent version has been underperforming among sniper mechas. Therefore, we decided to make the following change: Increased fully-charged primary weapon's damage vs. mecha from 540 to 576.
Andromeda Andromeda's main tactic is to follow up hits from the secondary weapon with the primary weapon. But its current limited clips and low firing rate allow for a small margin of error. Therefore, we decided to make the following changes: 1. Increased starting clip capacity from 12 to 14; 2. Increased fire rate for primary weapon from 2.2 shots/sec to 2.5 shots/sec.
Shatterstar Shotgun The current Shatterstar Shotgun has performed well in mid-range combat between pilots. But we'd prefer it to excel in short range instead and let other weapons shine. Therefore, we decided to make the following changes this week: 1. Decreased basic damage for Purple from 22 to 21 and Orange from 25 to 23; 2. Decreased damage range from falloff starting at 15m until minimal damage at 50m to falloff starting at 12m until minimal damage at 35m.
Plasma Missile The new plasma missile has performed very well in Team Deathmatch and other casual modes, but the high output and attack rate limited the mechas in Team Deathmatch, and lessened the incentive for pilots to fight face-to-face. Therefore, we decided to make the following changes this week: 1. Decreased damage range from 12m to 10m; 2. Decreased how often it deals damage in its flight.
Pulse Rifle Intended to be a simple weapon even for rookies, the pulse rifle has a smaller margin for error than we'd like, and you needed certain practice and familiarity with it to counter other weapons. Therefore, we decided to make the following changes this week: 1. Reduced shot interval from 0.4s to 0.32s; 2. Increased clip capacity for Green from 24 to 30, for Blue from 27 to 36, for Purple from 30 to 42.
Mediator SMG The Mediator SMG is harder to use and deals less damage than fellow airdrop weapon, the Hydra Missile. Therefore, we decided to make the following changes this week: 1. Increased basic damage for single shots from 42 to 44; 2. Decreased recoil for burst fire; 3. Increased spread reduction for burst fire.
ADJUSTMENTS & OPTIMIZATIONS
1. Fixed sticker error for some areas in Origo Island; 2. Improved performance when Hotsteel, Northern Knight, Michael, and Boltus activate combat skills while using a springboard; 3. Fixed the glitch when a springboard drops down with a pilot on it in rare occasions; 4. Fixed the Mecha Quick Call feature so mechas are shown as prohibited after reaching team limit; 5. Fixed certain errors on the Season Unlocked page; 6. Improved skipping and lagging issues for certain maps in Team Deathmatch to offer smoother gaming; 7. Adjusted the difficulty for "Pilot kills using sniper weapons" objectives to fit the level of rewards; 8. Improved the system for calculating Tier Score in Team Deathmatch.

GAME BALANCE MODIFICATIONS
1. Andromeda Given Andromeda's high-risk attacks, its primary weapon has comparatively low accuracy, prompting us to increase tracking time following a hit for both primary and secondary weapons. To balance it out, damage against mecha and values for corresponding module has been reduced. Also, Core Module 1's tracking is much more visible than other modules, so we made the following changes: Increased tracking duration for primary weapon after a second weapon hit from 3s to 4s; Decreased damage vs. mecha from 234 to 216; Slightly decreased Core Module 1's tracking range; Changed cooldown for the Rapid Throw attack module from 1s/2s/3s to 1.2s/1.8s/2.4s 2. Trio of Enders The primary tactic for Trio of Enders relied on movement skills to either close in and fire short- to mid-range bursts, or quickly disengage. But once in such range, switching to precision weapons is a superior option. Therefore, we made the following changes: Tap button again to turn an activated tactical skill off. 3. Boltus Boltus's superior movement enabled it to enter a battle and disengage unscathed. Therefore, we made the following changes: Decreased damage bonus for the Static Shock attack module vs. mecha with more than 0 Shield from 5%/10%/15% to 4%/8%/12%; Shortened cooldown for the Electroceleration propulsion module from 0.5s/1s/1.5s to 0.4s/0.8s/1.2s; Extended cooldown for movement skills from 9.5s to 10.5s; Decreased movement damage reduction from 90% to 60%. 4. Pulsar Currently, Pulsar's nimble maneuverability has made the mecha hard to hit in matches of higher tiers. Therefore, we reduced the effectiveness of certain acceleration modules and, to compensate, increased its damage vs. mecha. Increased primary weapon's damage vs. mecha from 76 to 86; Decreased the dash speed bonus after suffering damage for the Strategic Retreat defense module from 20%/30%/40% to 15%/22.5%/30%, up to 2 seconds; Decreased speed bonus when Core Module 1 changes to humanoid form from 15% to 10% and duration down to 8 seconds; Decreased base DUR from 2,200 to 2,100. 5. Caramel Improved Caramel's feel and it may now use secondary weapon when jumping downward. 6. Aurora Improved Aurora's feel and it may now dash immediately after using a springboard.
ADJUSTMENTS & OPTIMIZATIONS
1. Fixed the faulty display when checking other players' records through Relationships; 2. Added sound for HP pack pick-up in Team Deathmatch and casual mode to confirm pick up; 3. Fixed inconsistent positioning for springboard and HP pack between Clone and Team Deathmatch; 4. Fixed volume glitch for certain devices under extreme situations; 5. Default checking coupons in Inventory for discount items in Store; 6. Fixed sticker error for some areas in Origo Island; 7. Further improved Origo Island to reduce lags and crashes. 8. Continued to fix overlapping, lighting, and resource allocation issues with Origo Island.

GAME BALANCE MODIFICATIONS
1. Caramel Caramel has performed well in all modes after the previous enhancements, from its much improved appearance rate and win rate. Hence, the Mecha City Division has decided to cool down this fiery bear by adjusting its primary weapon's fire rate and reducing its primary and secondary weapons' damage. Reduced Primary Weapon Fire Rate: 1.4 shots/sec > 1.2 shots/sec. Reduced Primary Weapon Damage to Pilot: 44 > 40, Reduced Damage to Mecha: 231 > 220. Reduced Secondary Weapon Damage to Pilot: 120 > 100, Reduced Damage to Mecha: 660 > 600. 2. Flamenco Flamenco stands out in mid to long range matchups with its explosive ability, and with the addition of its module, it can inflict considerable damage at both ranges. Hence, the Division has decided to retain Flamenco's original explosive characteristics but chose to reduce its margin of error and long range damage. Slightly increased its primary weapon's spread each shot and Flamenco's maximum spread limit. Reduced Shield: 700 > 500. 3. Pulsar A mecha masterpiece—Pulsar made its stunning airborne debut in Mecha City, pioneering a new generation of popular mecha. As its effective DPS and AVG DMG per match are significantly higher than other mechas in all modes, and its core module grants it an overwhelming damage, some adjustments were required. Reduced Human Primary Weapon Fire Rate: 6.7 shots/sec > 5.6 shots/sec. Reduced its first 3 shots' damage after switching to Cannon from its 1st Core Module: 10% > 8%. Reduced its 2nd Core Module Damage Bonus: 10% > 7%. 4. Andromeda Judging from data performance and pilots' feedback, Andromeda's current performance in high level matches is a little lacking. However, as Andromeda's graceful airborne fighting form in Mecha City is something the Division hopes to retain, her mobility and DUR will not be overly adjusted. This time, her secondary weapon's cooldown is reduced to increase her primary weapon's margin of error. Decreased Secondary Weapon Cooldown from 12s to 10s. 5. Arthur We discovered that in battle, Arthur's high mobility coordination required meticulous controls, had a very low margin of error, and was prone to awkward battle range distances due to the cooldown of its secondary weapons or teleporting skills. Therefore, the Mecha City Division has reduced its slashing cooldown in hopes of reviving the Knight Mecha's former glory. Decreased Secondary Weapon Cooldown from 12s to 11s. 6. Hurricane Compared to Hurricane's ability of soaring through the air and scanning the battlefield, its damage ability is currently weak. Hence, the Division has decided to increase its damage output. Increased Primary Weapon Damage to Mecha from 30 to 32. Increased Secondary Weapon Damage to Mecha: 330 to 351, increased its 2nd Core Module Damage to Mecha from 180 to 189.
ADJUSTMENTS & OPTIMIZATIONS
1. Fixed the issue of some Pulsar skins are displayed incorrectly during color adjustments. 2. Fixed the issue when releasing the fire button during Pulsar's transformation could cause it to fire in advance. 3. Fixed the issue that Pulsar's air dash could eject pilots from the mecha. 4. Fixed the issue of Pulsar's transformation would indicate an error occasionally even when there's sufficient space. 5. Fixed the issue of Tier Point Protection Card did not work under certain circumstances. 6. Lowered the probability for Origo Island map in Battle Royale accordingly. 7. Further improved Origo Island to reduce lags and crashes. 8. Fixed a lot of the overlapping, lighting, and resource allocation issues with Origo Island.
Finally, thank you for following and supporting Super Mecha Champions. We look forward to seeing you on the field!

SHOJI KAWAMORI'S PULSAR IS NOW AVAILABLE
A transformable mecha with an unknown past, Pulsar has garnered amazing records since debuting and become a rising star on the battlefield. Pulsar is a transformable mecha that can switch between humanoid and blaster forms. The humanoid form carries dual pulsar rifles able to discharge consecutive plasma pulses in powerful spreads. It can also adopt blaster form for sniping, climbing to high altitudes and fire concentrated pulses for precision strike on distant enemies. The multiple modes enable flexible combat options and strategy, giving Pulsar a leg up on the competition. As Pulsar gains popularity, its origin has become a topic of speculation. Some said it's a secret prototype developed by a major organization, while others theorized it's the creation of some unknown scientist. What past does Pulsar truly have? That is a question perhaps only its pilot, Purity, can answer. Pulsar, designed by top mecha designer Shoji Kawamori, is here! Interviewer with the designer is also available. Check the Interviews page to find out the process behind Mr. Shoji Kawamori's latest creation! Pulsar Mecha Pack is now available. Buy it now and get a free A-level skin!
