v2.4 - Auto-fire for all!
We have just uploaded a new build of the game (v2.4) for all platforms (Windows, Mac and Linux).
We have added auto-fire during boss battle for all spaceships, because it's a feature that has been requested many times by some players. The ship that had auto-fire as main ability has been modified: now it can double shoot bouncing projectiles in diagonal direction during boss battles. It may be useful.

Improved performance and current game status.
We have just uploaded a new SSP update, featuring performance improvements. Now the game should run much better on any computer, though it will be more noticeable on old ones (smoother scrolling and animation, etc).
Steam Cloud is working as expected. You can retrieve your saved data from any computer and OS. Play on Windows, continue on Mac, etc. Quite handy.
The sound bug on Linux is still there, we can't fix it right now. Remember that it only happens when playing on-line. If you browse the game local folder and launch it from there, it will work (though it won't sync leaderboards, achievements, etc). Even if we don't have many sales on Linux, we would like to offer a good working build. We will post a new announcement if we find a solution.

Steam Cloud support and Windows 10 issues explained.
Some players reported Windows 10 issues (game crashes at start). After investigating during some days, we discovered that the way the game is storing game data is not working on Windows 10, so we have changed that. And now, because of the new game data storing system allowing it, we have also added Steam Cloud support. No more data loss.
What does this mean for you?
Unfortunately, players that have already moved from Windows 7/8 to Windows 10 will lose the old game saved data. There is no solution to this. At least, you can run the game again.
Players that are still using Windows 7/8 will preserve saved data if they download the update and run the game once. Then, you can safely move to Windows 10 if that's your desire.
Sorry a lot for the inconveniences. We hope you can understand that, when a new operative system appears, these issues may happen. We have worked on this as fast as we could.

Fixed Soundtrack DLC and other issues
First, thanks to all our players for purchasing and playing this humble indie game. We hope you like it (the gameplay, graphics, sfx, music, voice acting, etc.).
Since the game's release, and from the shadows, we have been fixing many little bugs like, for example, sound issues. Also, we have added gamepad controller support for Mac. There is still a sound bug in Linux that happens if you play on-line. If you play off-line, everything works as expected. We can't fix this issue at the moment.
And just today, we have fixed the Soundtrack DLC, so now you can add it for free to your Steam music library.
