Some good news for all you beloved Super Treasure Arena players out there (in case you are one of the lucky fellas that own a Steam Deck): Super Treasure Arena was recently reviewed and got verified for the Steam Deck! ːsteamhappyː
What does that mean? It's simple, you can enjoy Super Treasure Arena in all its glory on the Steam Deck wherever you are: at home on the couch, on top of the highest mountain, in the bathroom (if it takes a little longer...) - just about anywhere!

Super Treasure Arena Roadmap: Winter 2018
Hello everyone,
I know it has been quiet for a while, so today I want to update you on the current state of the game and what to expect in the near future.
The good news first: On December 23rd, the game will come out of Early Access - And along with its full release, there will be an update that adds multi-language support, allowing the game to be played by a broader audience.
Simultaneously, a port of the game will launch on Nintendo Switch! Announcements and more details coming soon.
Also, by popular demand, the Halloween Event is coming back this year, allowing you to collect candy on decorated maps.
That said, I sadly also have to let you know that due to unsatisfying (and declining) sales on Steam, I've been unable to invest any development time on new features and further updates. This may change depending on the performance of the Console version, but I can't make any promises.
Treasure Arena has always been a passion project for me ever since I launched the original Browsergame in 2013, so it truly saddens me that I have to shift my main focus away from it. I will however try my best to at least keep the servers up and running for as long as possible.

Update 0.10.0 - Progression and Gameplay
Hey everyone,
I've been working on a bigger update for quite a while, but since that is taking longer than expected, I decided to split the update and release some of the changes right now! Please enjoy :)
Patch Nodes v0.10.0
General
- New progression system: Players now gain experience points from online matches, based on their performance
- Inactive players will now automatically be removed from online lobbies
Gameplay
- New mechanic: You can now dodge attacks in any direction by pressing the jump button while blocking! This can also be used to move around more quickly.
- Stamina recovery kicks in faster, reducing downtime between actions
- Running out of stamina now greatly reduces movement speed until recovered
- Small potions now restore more health (raised from 10 to 15)
- Some Minions will now use projectile weapons
- Attack speed of Minions has been lowered significantly, making dodging and blocking more effective
- Minions can no longer aggro through solid objects
- Heroes with a timed special ability can no longer block while their ability is active
UI
- Added result screen after online matches to show more details about the player's in-game performance
- Button prompts in menus have been scaled down
- Fixed some overlapping UI elements in menus

Super Treasure Arena is now available for Mac!
I'm happy to announce that you can now enjoy the frantic coin frenzy on your Mac, featuring cross-platform multiplayer!
When purchasing the game, you gain access to both the PC and Mac versions.
If you already own the game for PC, you automatically gain access to the Mac version as well.

Update 0.9.0 - Map Updates
Hello!
Before adding more content in future updates, I wanted to make sure each of the existing maps has a unique feel to it. So in this update, some maps received an overhaul. Hope you enjoy! :)

- Revamped "Cove", featuring a new tileset and enemy type

Update 0.7.0 - Matchmaking and More

The first update is live! Read below to find out what's new. Thanks everyone for your feedback over the last couple of days! :)
Patch Notes v0.7.0
It should now be easier for players to find each other online.
Instead of being thrown into an empty lobby when all other lobbies are currently in a match, players can now enter a queue and will join once the match is over.
Bots now also count as free slots for players to join, and players will automatically replace any bot if necessary.
General
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with certain objects or completing a match if Steam Services were unavailable
- Fixed an issue where treasure chests in "Treasure Run" could be pushed by players under special conditions
- Playing a match without other players or bots does not count towards achievement progress anymore
UI
- The current server region is now correctly displayed in the top right corner when invited by another player
- Trying to connect to servers when Steam Services and/or the Steam Client is offline, now displays an error message, instead of failing silently
Gameplay
- Slightly increased cast time of Mystic's special ability (from 0.5s to 0.6s)
- Slightly decreased duration of Mystic's ice spell (from 3.0s to 2.5s)
