There's not much in the way of actual text for these patch notes but these changes will vastly improve gameplay for those of you who have experienced FPS issues in the past.
- Most FPS issues should now be fixed as a result of a collision revamp.
- Part 12 (Pursuit) has been revamped to prevent ridiculous FPS drops and as a result of being extremely difficult to navigate.
- Fixed energy not being taken on some maps.
- Fixed some controller tutorial text not appearing properly.
Quick patch released
Quick patch to fix a few issues such as:
- Sometimes seeing red hitboxes around the enemies and player
- FPS drops
- Movement keys getting stuck and requiring a restart of the level
- A possible crash related to temporary level editor files
Superstatic Update #2 Patch Notes
Just a quick patch mainly centered around fixing some of the collision issues that have been cropping up and the fact that punching bosses leads them to getting back up with full health (also applies to other enemies but to a lesser extent).
- Fixed enemies, particularly bosses, getting back up with the wrong amount of health
- Improved hitboxes
- Level design tweaks
Superstatic Update #1 Patch Notes
We're releasing a small bugfix/balance patch today to address some key issues that have been pointed out. You can find the patch notes below:
- Added support for rebinding the restart key (default Q).
- Reduced enemy recovery time across the board.
- Added a hint for how to acquire radios.
- Improved the feel of shotguns and significantly buffed the doublebarrel.
- Improved audio feedback when punching.
- Fixed various UI issues.
- Changed the way idle animations work to make the guns enemies are holding more obvious.
- Tweaked a few levels.
- Reduced screenshake.
The patch should be rolling out fairly soon from now.
Superstatic released!
Superstatic has finally been released! Check out our new trailer below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ui03nm0VRA
The game will be 10% off for the first week of launch. Enjoy!
Release tomorrow!
Superstatic will finally be releasing tomorrow! We'll have a brand new trailer showing off some of the newer levels to accompany some of the press videos that may or may not go up either today or tomorrow.
We're definitely looking forward to all of your feedback and a well deserved break before we dive right into the level editor patch. See you then!
Pre-purchase + new trailer tomorrow!
I'll preface this post by saying the pre-purchase is a "hopefully" more than a "definitely". We're currently in the process of getting some stuff approved by Valve so it might take a little longer. If all goes to plan though, the game will be available for pre-purchase on Monday and will be unlockable on Tuesday.
We're also releasing a Launch Trailer tomorrow showing off some of the new levels, mechanics, etc. This time we haven't gone for the over-the-top glitchy look we had last time since a lot of people found it extremely hard to watch. See you then!
