Release Notes - 2021-11-10
Attention, General!
Today’s release will tidy up the ingame newspaper significantly, as trade embargos are being removed as articles entirely. Direct messages which are sent to a user's account will also be sortable from now on by differentiating between player messages and system messages.
Last but not least the game creation menu will now clearly mark all gold features as such to prevent the unintended creation of private maps which require a gold entry fee.

Speed Round - Event
Dear generals,
the time has come for another speed round event! Cancel all your plans and prepare for some short nights and long fights during the next 14 days. If no player or coalition has achieved a regular victory by that time, the player with the most victory points is declared winner. The end time is displayed in the game information within the newspaper and as a countdown on the right side of the screen. This scenario runs on the CoW 1.5 version, with new features and new balancing.

Generals!
In this event you will not know friends nor family: In a 100p map with the ‘anonymous round’ feature enabled and no coalitions you will be pitted against 99 other players in a struggle for survival.
The event maps will start immediately after their creation with random country selection enabled and will run at normal speed. Players are flagged as inactive after 2 days. Please note that this event will also have a fixed runtime of 6 weeks: If no winner is determined before time is up, the player with the highest total of victory points wins and receives a generous gold prize.
Swift Stirke
During the Swift Strike event everything comes down to the wire. Find the right strategy, allocate your resources in the best possible way, ally with the right powers and do all of it FAST! In this event time can be your biggest ally or your biggest enemy! To win you have to be swift like a Luchs tank! There is no time in battle!

Keeping an overview of everything that’s happening on multiple fronts and within your nation itself can be demanding but is an essential part of any successful campaign. To support you in this regard, the way frontline reports are delivered to you has been adjusted. Instead of showing a maximum of 20 reports, all reports of the last 48 hours will be kept at the ready for you to sight.
Of course, we’ve also been busy fixing smaller bugs here and there so you can focus on your war efforts as best as possible.

Dear generals,
Separatist movements rose to power in different parts of the world and control major resources now. Use this opportunity to seize these regions and utilize them to forge a mighty global Empire!
Victory on this map is not achieved by simple conquest, in order to win you have to secure 13 of 25 Control Points scattered across the world map. Only one player will win the huge gold reward in the end, so use your wits and plan your strategy wisely to have a chance in this demanding event!
