Colonial Uprising - Event
Dear generals,
Separatist movements rose to power in different parts of the world and control major resources now. Use this opportunity to seize these regions and utilize them to forge a mighty global Empire!
Victory on this map is not achieved by simple conquest, in order to win you have to secure 13 of 25 Control Points scattered across the world map. Only one player will win the huge gold reward in the end, so use your wits and plan your strategy wisely to have a chance in this demanding event!

- Game client performance has been improved e.g. scrolling through large lists
- Shop checkout is possible within the Steam client now. No more browser login to Steam required.

Rush for Europe
Attention, Generals!
Time flies, as they say! Just like those new fighter aircrafts and bombers these days. The Germans are deploying troops, the Tsar increased military spending and the Royal Navy is on high alert! It looks like we are only hours away until war breaks out in Europe.
Mobilize your troops and prepare yourself for whatever enemy you may face! “Rush for Europe” is a special event map which runs on breathtaking 6 times the speed of normal game rounds! Even the tiniest decision could have severe consequences at this pace. Experience the war for Europe in a way you have never seen it before!
If you want to participate in this event simply go to the game list: Within the sign-up period ( new event rounds will be created on demand and shown on top of the list of new games.

Release Notes - 2021-07-06
Attention Generals!
Today’s update brings additional tweaks to the construction and production panel on mobile devices. We also adjusted the circle that gets displayed when selecting a unit with long ranged attack capabilities to make it easier to identify the actual range of the unit.
On top of that we also fixed the takeoff animations of aircrafts and several other bugs in the game.

Speed Round - Event
Dear generals,
the time has come for another speed round event! Cancel all your plans and prepare for some short nights and long fights during the next 14 days. If no player or coalition has achieved a regular victory by that time, the player with the most victory points is declared winner. The end time is displayed in the game information within the newspaper and as a countdown on the right side of the screen. This scenario runs on the CoW 1.5 version, with new features and new balancing.

If you want to participate in this event simply go to the game list: Within the sign-up period new event rounds will be created on demand and shown on top of the list of new games. As soon as the map has started you will receive a notification to your inbox.

Release Notes - 2021-06-22
Attention Generals!
Today’s update readdresses recent changes to the size of army labels and country colours. After our last update the size of army labels turned out a little too small for practical use on medium levels, hence their size has been increased for these levels. The recent change to high zoom levels has been kept as player feedback was very positive in this regard. We aligned the colour tone of a player's own nation for all graphic settings, as it turned out a little too bright in the low graphics mode. The identical colours for neutral countries in the relations view mode will also be changed to make it easier for players to distinguish individual nations when using this view.
