"Since the release of Supreme Ruler 2010 almost fifteen years ago, our team and players have discussed the possibility of applying the game system we created to a space setting", shared Lead Programmer and Co-Founder George Geczy. "Having developed our game engine and gameplay mechanics over all this time, we finally saw a path to making this goal a reality."
Players will now be able to expand their planetary battles into the space around their homeworld, and from their home system they can expand further within a custom-generated galaxy. The possibilities are endless with options for galaxy size, system density and a variety of alien races to play as or against.
Galactic Ruler offers real-time strategy game play at both the planetary level and in space. Lead your faction in diplomacy or conquest across a unique galactic map where any system might hold hostile enemies or resource riches. BattleGoat Studios Releases Trump's World Update and Map Editor for Supreme Ruler Ultimate
BattleGoat Studios has released a major update to its flagship strategy game title "Supreme Ruler Ultimate", featuring new content, modern world updates, and a set of world-building and editing tools.
The original Trump Rising DLC released in 2016 brought the world a hypothetical future featuring President Donald Trump. Today's Trump's World update adds a new 2018 Sandbox featuring modern day tensions and relationships, plus new opportunities and threats. Commented Lead Programmer George Geczy, "Starting in the modern day, players can take on the provocations of Russia, Iran, North Korea, and much more. They can play as the US to Make America Great Again, or take on the challenge of other countries trying to make their way in a rapidly changing and unstable world."
Existing Sandboxes and Campaigns have been updated with new leaders and relationships resulting from recent elections and geo-political changes. Gameplay has also been updated with a number of new features, AI improvements, and other additions, including regular tweets by President Trump to the rest of the world (some are real, some are not - will you be able to tell which are which?)
The 2020 future scenarios have also been updated to reflect real world changes while presenting hypothetical situations including "Divided States" (a US region that has collapsed along political lines) and "Global Crisis", a world where individual nations become increasingly isolationist and aggressive.
In addition, BattleGoat is pleased to release the Supreme Ruler Map Editor and Content Editor tools, for the first time allowing players to not only modify existing maps and sandboxes, but to create entirely new past, present and future scenarios, and even entirely new worlds.

Q: Does this mean that development on Supreme Ruler 1936 is finished?
A: Development will continue on SR1936. In fact, many new features and elements from Supreme Ruler Ultimate will be back-ported to SR1936 when possible, and the work on Ultimate allows us to continue to add some new features and content to SR1936.
Q: If I already have Supreme Ruler 1936 and Supreme Ruler 2020, why should I get Ultimate?
A: Ultimate provides some new features and content specifically designed to support long-term games from the early 20th century well into modern times and the near future. As well, it brings much of the SR2020 and SR Cold War content into the improved and enhanced game engine that has shipped with our World War II game. Supreme Ruler Ultimate is specifically designed to appeal to players that enjoy playing modern and near-future strategy in addition to the historical games.
Q: Will Supreme Ruler 1936 owners get a discount on Ultimate?
A: Yes. The retail price of Supreme Ruler Ultimate is $29.99, owners of SR1936 can purchase it for $19.99 during the Early Access and for 30 days past release.
Q: When will Supreme Ruler Ultimate be released?
