Notice of "Survival Quiz CITY" Service Termination
Important Notice to all "Survival Quiz CITY" players
We regret to inform you that we have decided to terminate the current service of "Survival Quiz CITY" at the end of October 2023.
The full version of "Survival Quiz CITY" and the free trial version of "Survival Quiz CITY Visitor's Pass" will be suspended soon. Therefore, new purchases/downloads will no longer be available. Existing players will be able to continue playing until the end of the service.
The service will be terminated upon server close. We would like to thank all the players who have played and supported "Survival Quiz CITY".
We have also decided to release a new free-to-play version of "Survival Quiz CITY おまつり編" on October 12th, 2023. This version will only be available in Japanese, but we hope you will continue to read the following announcement if you are interested.

Survival Quiz CITY will be newly released on October 12th, as "Survival Quiz CITY おまつり編" (Japanese only) with a free-to-play version!
“Survival Quiz CITY" will be newly released as "Survival Quiz CITY おまつり編" which support cross-play with Nintendo Switch version(for Japan) on October 12th, 2023. The new version will be free to play and will feature the basic game system of "Survival Quiz CITY" along with the "Festival(おまつり)" of the CITY, including various themed events!
Please enjoy "Survival Quiz CITY おまつり編" from October 12th, 2023 onward. Although a new APP download will be required, users who have purchased and played the current full version of "Survival Quiz CITY" will be able to transfer play data to the Steam version of "Survival Quiz CITY おまつり編" (*). (Data transfer schedule is as follows.) Also, as a token of our appreciation, we will offer free tickets to draw lots in the "おまつり編".
Schedule (*1) Soon: Current "Survival Quiz CITY" will be suspended (new purchases will not be available thereafter).
9/30/2023: Transfer data collection We will collect game data of users who play the full version of "Survival Quiz CITY" so that city ranks, rewards, and original quizzes (*1) at this point can be transferred to "Survival Quiz CITY おまつり編" (steam version) for play.
2023/10/12: "Survival Quiz CITY おまつり編" will be released
2023/10/31: Current "Survival Quiz CITY" service scheduled to end (*2)

Greetings the Survival Quiz CITY Development Team! We’ve updated the game based on a variety of feedback and requests we have received from the community.
Bug Fixes - Fixed a bug that caused winning players to fall into the losers course if they were attacked before reaching the armory. - Fixed a bug that allowed winning team players to use mines to enter the losing team’s course. - Removed the ability to throw items while under the affects of an explosion.
Addition of original quiz functionality
- The original quiz selection screen shows the number of questions of each quiz. - A preview for each question type is available to check when creating and editing original quizzes. - In Custom Match lobbies, the host player can check the questions contained in your favorite original quizzes list.
Addition of custom match functionality
-Implemented the ability for the host player to remove any player from a room. (Custom Matches)

Since its release, we have received a variety of feedback/requests from our users, and we appreciate it. We have spent about a month revising the game focusing on the feedback we have received from our users, and we are pleased to announce the update to version 1.1.
Here are the main updates:
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when starting up
Thanks to everyone who sent their crash dump files we’ve identified the part of the game that probably caused this problem and fixed it. If you continue to experience crashes in the future, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide us with a dump file using the form below. ▶︎Link here
Establishment of North America Server
We have received feedback from users in North America about the high latency, so we have set up a server in the North American area so that users can choose to play on either the "Asia Server" or the "North America Server". You can now switch servers from the main menu, and we hope you will find it useful.
Lag countermeasures
We have implemented more changes that should help reduce lag for players.
Reduction of game file size
The data structure has been reviewed and reduced in size.
Addition of custom match functionality
In response to requests from our users, we have made the following modifications - The number of items displayed on a page has been increased to 40. - Rooms with "public settings," "rooms waiting for lobby," and "old rooms" will be prioritized for display. - Stage difficulty is now displayed on the search screen. - The default setting for stage difficulty when creating a room has been changed to "Easy". - Other players will be notified when the host changes the room settings. - The original quiz name and stage difficulty are now displayed on the monitor in the lobby.
Changed the name "Quick Match" to "Ranked Match”
Since many high-level battles currently take place in the game, the game has become a place to play seriously rather than casually, we thought the name "Ranked Match" would be more appropriate and changed the name.
Implementation of a lead-in to the "Tutorial
We have found that whether or not you have played the tutorial makes a big difference in your playing experience. Therefore, when a player tries to enter a ranked match without having played the tutorial, a dialog box prompting the player to play the tutorial is now displayed. If you select "Ranked Match" twice, you will be able to play a ranked match without playing the tutorial.
Adjustment of game balance - Narrowed bazooka attack range by 20%. - The amount of knockback when hit by a machine gun on a Slippery Bomb has been slightly lowered. In particular, it is less likely to knock you back when you are in a state of exhaustion. - Markers now appear where keys are placed on the stage.
Bug Fixes Bug fixes were made, focusing on bugs reported by users. - Fixed incorrect answers to quizzes. - Fixed typos in the quiz. - Fixed a bug that caused a person to be blown up when caught in a bomb while crawlling up a slope while in an exhausted state. And many more!
