Restarting the project

Hey

The last post got a bit of traction and I think that's enough for me to push through.
2 guys commented and 5 upvoted.

I'm literally crying after 2 years of my such a rude behaviour you guys still believe.

Plan of action starting tomorrow.
1. Create discord and whoever owns the game now must join.
2. Special bonus items for current players.
3. Create a roadmap
4. Multiplayer

We are definitely doing this guys.

Call for update ?

Hey everyone,

I have finally got some free time, I'm out of the mess I was in before and I wish to continue the development of this project.
I'm thinking to get this game back on track I must put in multiplayer features as I had thought of before.

Please I would love some comments about it. Let me know what you guys think if there is anybody out there who still gives a damn.

Discontinuation of development

I'm deeply disheartened to notify all of this that due to lack of funds and the game not making enough money I have discontinued work on the project.

I wish to complete this game in the future but please do not buy the game expecting a full game.

I wanted my game to be better than the "famed early access " games that fail , however I failed.
I apologise to everybody once again and I hope to mend things.

Update 5. Version 0.0.4

Hey Survivors,

Its been a long time since the last News Update or Game Update that is because I've been working on a bigger update this time and LOTS of things are coming your way !
Basically things that were making the game unplayable by some terms will be sorted out this time.

Following are the completed tasks:

- Made Lion cheaper because Most Youtubers and Players played the boring herbivores and quit the game where the most fun part is with the Carnivores.

- Winter Season

- Scouting and Marking (gif - http://i.imgur.com/B0EX1Ch.gifv old, made it look better )

- Added Body Temperature

- Karma Points are calculated on activities

- AI notifies its feelings and stats in icons ( hunger, thirst, injured or low energy)

- Territories are now visualized near caves.

- Added a little more visual beautification with fog and post processes.

- Redone the Mating system


Bugs that have been fixed so far :

- Added FullScreen option
- Smelling not working during day time.
- Misc. Winter season blend bugs
- Names not showing in Prologue UI
- Spread out Animals when spawning
- Added a new Spawning system. Much better and efficient. Makes animals seen everywhere.

-AI Animals were falling off when killed. Fixed it.

Update 3 - The Fur Grows in Realtime

Proud of Releasing Update 3 for Survivalizm


- The Fur GROWS in GameTime.

- Home system. AI and Player both will have homes to choose from and own.

- Territories. Each Home will have an attached territory and is related to a herd. If you kill the herd leader or own the main home. You will become territory owner.
{ in a territorial area, beware of carnivores }


- Map Chunks loading too early. This isnt a bug but its part of optimization. Map chunks load pretty early on which makes two big map chunks live on map at the same time. So will optimize that.

- Manage animal spawns better.

- Tab button for Detailed Stats now has no bugs.

- Found the blank spot in map. Fixed it

- Lightened up Stars

- Set Moonlight to lower Intensity, so night is darker.

- Fixed Post Process Blending to 0.005 instead of 0.001

- Fixed Day Night Cycle. For better visualization and gameplay

- Fixed looking through Landscape for all animals. Each animal has different camera settings

- Fixed bugs coming when AI is following its friend.

- Fixed bugs when AI is running from Hostile Animals. Player or Other AI.

- Made Corners totally non accessible as players were getting stuck. Also AI.

- Put Caves in map.

- Solved Cave bugs. Response when enters.

- Caves have predetermined Animal Spawn, saved. 17% chance of Rabbit
as owners so player can easily get a home.

- Animals Going back to Home

- Fixed all Camera settings for all animals.

- Put Now Loading prompt when start is pressed.

- Removed Sound Cues from Hunting. Was very displeasing to hear.

Update 3(next release)

Update 3 will come pretty soon.


It will have the following

- Home system. AI and Player both will have homes to choose from and own.

- Each map chunk will be name specified. Tracking where you are is hard at the moment, so before I put up landmarks. I'm naming areas, so player remembers easily.

- Map Chunks loading too early. This isnt a bug but its part of optimization. Map chunks load pretty early on which makes two big map chunks live on map at the same time. So will optimize that.

- Right now AI spawns near player but after this update, the AI will spawn near to player but also a main herd will be given to each home. Mostly carnivores will be home owners.

I made an urgent update to solve 2 issues.
- Animals were spawning too far away.
- Bug notified by , Animals Unlocked werent saving. Solved now.
