Demo & Exclusive Streams This Weekend at LudoNarraCon!

Hello!
We are delighted that we made the cut and can participate in this year’s LudoNarraCon, the biggest online festival focused on games with ambitious narratives.

It will run on Steam from April 23rd to April 26th!

First of all, it means we will have a PLAYABLE DEMO!

In it, you will go through the very beginning of the game, arriving in our village and starting your survey in the local schoolhouse. The demo will include 4 playable characters as well as the main map, and other scenes for you to try!

If you decide to give it a go, please give us feedback - you can use our Twitter, Discord, or E-mail. We are eager to finally show you the first parts of our game!

Streams, QAs, behind-the-scenes!

LudoNarraCon is about much more than that, including talks and of course dev live streams. You can find the full schedule here, but with Svoboda 1945: Liberation, we have prepared 4 streams, one for each festival day, covering everything from our approach to history to a behind-the-scenes look at our life as an indie studio making serious games. Just a note: we list the streams in CET time, you can easily convert them to your in Google by searching for "time CET" (e.g. querying "9:30 CET") and it should automatically convert to your local time!

So tune in at:

April 23rd, 21:30 CET

New game, new trailer, new website

Hello and thank you so much for your continuing interest in our upcoming story set in the Czech borderland. As you might have noticed, we changed the name of the game to Svoboda 1945: Liberation. We decided to do so after a long deliberation and we believe that the change will make it more legible to our non-slavic friends while hinting at the themes of our story.

Right, the story! All the story parts are now done, so nothing's keeping us from releasing our first trailer. It introduces all the main characters, shows some comics and immerses you in the atmosphere.

Check it out below:

We're keen on showing you more soon - including our brand new interactive memories, a collectivisation game and a card game plus the new map. We’ll keep you updated. With the mobile version of Attentat 1942 off our hands, the development of Svoboda 1945 is continuing at a steady pace. Svoboda 1945 is alive! With a new map, interactive memories and more

Hello and we hope you are all safe,
you might have noticed things happening around Attentat 1942, namely the Remembrance Update and the upcoming mobile release. Even though we put a lot of effort into them, we never stopped working on Svoboda 1945. Apart from polishing and updating Svoboda 1945's Steam page, here's what we've been up to:

New map
Our map is the main entry point to the troubled story of our village. We felt that it should do much more than just show you icons of characters and items. So we decided to give it a big overhaul, making it not just a crossroad but full-fledged story part - by including what we call 'places of memory'. As you play through Svoboda, discovering new places and important events, they will show on your map. The map is now dynamic in size, letting you see different pieces of the story depending on the zoom level. A family tomb, local school which used to be an SS encampment, farmstead of a local patriot who doesn't like your research. And there's much more to discover so stay tuned and look for clues on our Facebook or Twitter.

PC, Mac and Linux coming
We tested our new tech with the Attentat 1942 update and we are happy to announce that Svoboda 1945 will be available on all major desktop operating systems. So apart from PC, both MacOS and Linux players will be able to play it from the day one! Response from the Linux community has been great so we're really looking forward to bring our next historical title to their favorite platform as well.

The last thing: interactive memories
With dialogues designed and polished, we will now focus our efforts on interactive memories to let you engage with history in a more hands-on way. You might remember stalling Gestapo or fleeing Nazis from Attentat 1942 and we want bring this approach to Svoboda 1945's storyline as well. We can't share any specifics now (though they will come) as things are still in progress, but here's the clues: card game on the eve of political turmoil, farmstead collectivization or photography development class.

So that's it! With Attentat 1942 mobile port coming in a few weeks, our full efforts are now focused on Svoboda 1945. We will be sharing more bits and pieces as we will be approaching our autumn/winter release date - more on exact date later.

And as always, we'll be more than happy to hear from you what are your expectations and what would you like to see in a game about a part of history that is not explored enough. For more details consult brand new Steam page or follow us anywhere.

Hear from you soon!
