Svrvive: The Deus Helix

Patch notes 1.1

First patch live! We’ve listened to you, our mailman and our cat… and we just implemented toggle! For those who liked it the way it was, don’t worry. The objects will only toggle interact (i.e. ”lock to your hand”) if you click it once. If you hold the object for more than 0,45 seconds, the object will not toggle, and instead act as it did before. Best of both worlds

Additional fixes are:

Major fixes:
- Toggle on interaction when fast clicking objects.
- Removed flashlight and integrated light with the controllers instead. Activate controller flashlight by clicking the grip button.
- Overall performance optimization.

Minor fixes:
- Bug causing light in mission 4 to lose interaction.
- Added an additional graphical quality setting.
- Puzzle fixes in mission 2.
- Bug causing players to teleport in hidden area in mission 4.
- Replaced teleportation end nodes with meshes instead of lights.
- New loading screens.
- Fixed rotation of in-game menu.
- Fixed broken roof in mission 5.
- Fixed ignore teleport on some objects.
- Fixed bad spawn of object in mission 5.
- Puzzle fixes in mission 4.
- Fixed out of place doors in mission 5.
- Fixed stuck orbs in puzzle in mission 3.

Release note from the team

Stockholm, November 17th 2016

Hello Agents!
We're finally releasing SVRVIVE: The Deus Helix!
We’re so happy to make this game come to life and you Agents have been invaluable for us, your love and feedback keeps us smiling in the office. We will do our very best to keep listening to you, and make sure to use your feedback to keep making things even better.

Earlier during our journey, we announced we would potentially create a new toggle function for object interactions. However, due to the different interaction styles with different objects throughout the game, and a lot of testing, we’ve chosen to keep the hold button interaction style… for now… It simply seems to work better for most people. We will, however, keep experimenting on this and might add multiple toggle options in future updates.

We also want to say this - the release of SVRVIVE: The Deus Helix is only the beginning for our team. So buckle up Agents! ːsteamhappyː

Fixes for now are:

-Fixed bug that occasionally made the key fall out from the keyhole
-Fixed missing collider on bookshelf
-Improved lock, so that the whole thing falls to the ground
-Fixed clipping in some event sounds
-Lowered the volume on the drawers
-Fixed ending in room one, that occasionally made objects get stuck

Good luck, Agents!
