Tecroroid Assault Steam Page is Live
Hello everyone, I have made the Steam page for my new game Tecroroid Assault go live. So if you would like to learn more, ask questions, or wish list the game you can do so Here

The game wont release until 2019 and is currently going though beta tests. I will update the steam page when new content is ready, or a new trailer has been prepared.

Beta Testers needed
For those of you who have purchased Swap Blocks I would like to let you know that I am working on a new Title called Tecroroid Assault. It will be coming out early 2019, and it will be an space invaders inspired game. I will upload the steam page for it on Monday to be on the look out for that. But meanwhile I need beta testers to make sure the game is the best that it can be.

If you would like to get a beta key all you have to do is fill out the form Here. Perticipants in the beta will be choosen at random, but if there isn't a lot of people wanting to try out the game I think everyone might be able to get a beta key.

From now until 4/16/2018 Swap Blocks will be 50% off. So if you have been waiting to play the game or gift it to a friend now is a good chance to purchase the game.

version 1.4.3 is now live
This is just a small update to fix some issues that were found on a nother platform that also were in the PC version.

One thing that was fixed that no one said anything about was scrolling the leaderboards. before you couldn't see passed the 9th entry but now you can scroll all the way to the bottom of the list.

Version 1.4.0 now live
This version adds a feature mainly for those of you looking to increase your leaderboard scores. Now completing the quests that appear on the right side of the HUD will give you 100 points per task completed when you finish playing a level. This may or may not be increased or decreased in the future.

Also a special skin has been added in honor of todays Great North American Solar Eclipse. To get this skin just play and complete one non challenge level or non custom in Swap Blocks.

Version 1.3.5 now live

  • Added a new skin
  • Fixed a bug that makes the game crash on start up.
  • Fixed a bug that makes it impossible to load hard difficulty levels when using Keyboard controls.

Version 1.3.0 is now live
This is a small update that allows you to test puzzles from within the editor. And when you are done it will return you from the editor when you pause and select the Quit option.

Update 1.1.0 Released
Update 1.1.0 have been rolled out. Below is a list of what was added.


  • PS4 and other Generic controllers can be used with the Steam Controller Configuration.
  • PS4 Controller prompts.
  • Locked game modes now show how many stars are needed to be unlocked.
  • Custom puzzles can now be played in the Cross gameplay mode.

PS4 Controller Support
I haven't tested this properly so I'm not sure how well it works in game. There is now support for the PS4 controller. it functions exactly like a Xbox One/Xbox 360 controller would except for the DPAD. You will have to go into the Steam Controller Configuration settings and tell the PS4 controller to make the DPAD act as the Left Stick. That should get it working.

Also while the PS4 controller is plugged in keyboard prompts will show up on screen. I will look into fixing that and update the game to show proper button prompts.
