Swarm the City Full Release Preview

Dear Players,

After the EA release of Swarm the City, we realized the quality of the game was below your expectations and we are sorry and sincerely apologise to all players who have supported us along the way.
After long and heated discussions, we have decided to do a big overhaul to the existing version in order to have a great experience for everyone in full release build.
To do this, we carried out an intensive closed development for about 6 months. We are sorry for keeping silent during this period. But the good news is that there is a new beta-ready version of the full release version, and development of the full release version will finally be completed by the end of June.
In this new version we have made various improvements:

  1. The basic controls are heavily simplified and optimised, you now can command the zombie army smoothly.
  2. The zombie generals are revamped, generals are buffed and clearly diversified.
  3. The zombie king's magic arsenal is enriched, you now have more ways to deal with humans.
  4. Various lore pieces are placed around the world, and now you can finally discover interesting aspects of zombies and humans.
  5. Normal zombies can devour human brains and thus use human weapons and carriers. When you see a decent human weapon, be sure to grab it!
  6. Dogs and cows in the city can be zombified so you can use whoofs and moos as rallying cries now.
  7. Destroying important buildings and killing important humans drop soul crystals, which provide random Artifacts to buff your armies to destroy human cities more effectively.
  8. 8. Killing more people and destroying more cities will allow you to gradually restore your zombie king and generals to their former power, and you can customize the evolution of your zombie army in any direction you like.
  9. Overall content and experience optimisations.

We are going to publish previews of the new version in the community, and we expect to test the official pre-release content on May 10th, 19:00(PST)

1. Players can right click to select human units, oil barrel, and nails.

What's New Today


1. The function of saving the game during each level is available now.
2. Increased the resources gained after destroying a police car.
3. Adjusted the turrets in level 3-3.
4. Adjusted the difficulty of level 3-3.
5. Fixed a bug where turrets in level 3-3 are unreachable.
6. Add an interactive action with turrets when its electricity is out.
7. Decreased the attack speed of the fortress and the tanks.
8. Removed the normal and hard mode of level 1-1 and 1-2. All the tutorial levels are in easy mode now.
9. Adjusted the rules when Amalgadons toss vehicles.
10. Fixed the bug that level 5-2's easy mode can't be finished.
11. Removed the word, "tips", from the loading page.
12. Added tips while selecting difficulties.
13. Requirements for unlocking the hard mode will be shown while players select difficulties.
14. Fixed the bug that cops can't deal damage to the energy core in level 5-3 easy mode.
15. Fixed a bug in level 4-4 where zombies might get into the mountain.
