Content Update 3 - Single Player/Co-Op Drone Invasion Beta
Changelog:
* New Single-Player/Co-Op Drone Invasion Game Mode (beta): Survive 10 waves of drone invaders. Each wave has more drones at a faster spawn rate. For now you will respawn with infinite lives, so this is just an opportunity to try out the earliest working version of this mode and give feedback.
* Pistol moved from your hip to the center of your back to avoid issues with accidentally grabbing the pistol while trying to fire turrets.
* Drone Invasion will allow up to 6 players all on the same team. At least one player will have to survive to the end of each wave to revive dead teammates and continue the game.
* Better drone AI with more enemy varieties. We ultimately want individual enemies to be formidable instead of relying on large quantities of enemies for difficulty.
* More models/sounds for drones

Future Plans:
* A perk tree that you earn points for after each wave of Drone Invasion that will allow you to specialize and buff yourself in different ways to prepare for later waves.

Feature Update 2
* Better anti-aliasing and other better default graphics settings! No more blurry text.
* New menu level with menu improvements for easier access, visibility, etc. Options moved to game browser screen.
* New Map: Big Canyons (renamed Big Island to Floating Island).

* Input turning is now supported on both Vive and Oculus. Swipe both thumbs left or right on the pads simultaneously to snap turn 30 degrees left or right.
* Added Sampling graphics options to allow for supersampling (up to 400%) or subsampling (down to 50%). High values will probably cause significant performance loss. This isn't very important with the better default anti-aliasing.
* The loading screen should now continue to display until you have completely connected and are controlling a character. This should prevent situations where the skybox gets "stuck" to your face while connecting to a host with high latency.
* Pressing grip now only returns weapons to their slot when your hand is near the slot. When your hand is not near the slot the grip input will instead propagate to other items such as turrets. This means you can now fire both turrets and a weapon simultaneously, whereas before you had to drop your weapon to fire the turret on the same side. Weapons must be returned to the slot they came from, so you have reach back up to your back and press grip to return it to your back, and you have to reach down to your waist and press grip to return your pistol to the hip slot.
* You can now grab surfaces while holding a weapon (if your hand is at a surface when you press the trigger it will grab it, otherwise it will fire).
* "Straight Grip" is now the default gun angle option. Can still be toggled to "Gun Grip" in the options menu.
* Increased weapon pickup radius.
* Slightly reduced birdflight glide turn rate and reduce birdflight max speed from 100 m/s to 30 m/s
* Some spell draw penalty times rebalanced.
* Fixed clients not seeing the slomo effect after a match restart.
* Fixed pistol not having the proper hit radius (is now easier to hit).
* Fixed the host's jet hands not displaying on clients.
* Fixed issues with menu interaction laser display.
* Fixed a client crash on match restart.
* Fixed an issue where weapon beams would sometimes not be visible (especially with supersampling enabled).
* Other bug fixes and improvements.
Turning Input for Oculus and Sandbox Game Mode
You can now snap turn in 60 degree increments by pushing both sticks to the left or right on Oculus Touch. We should have a solution for the Vive out soon. We decided on snap turns because continuous turning from stick input was much more nauseating. Let us know if 60 degrees feels right with you, or if you'd prefer something more like 30 or 90 (we might also just make this a variable option if that's desired).
I also added a Sandbox Game Mode, which for now is just like Deathmatch but all active abilities (Jet Hands, Swing, Birdflight, etc) have a 999 duration so you can play around with them without worrying about timers. In the future I'll add more room to mess around in this mode, like infinite ammo, infinite duration passives (get tiny/big, low grav, etc), and more.

Feature Update 1
We put out new builds most days but we'll post patch notes when we make any significant changes such as these:
* Added Time Attack game mode for solo or co-op. Reach checkpoints around the map before time runs out. Random movement abilities are scattered about the level to pick up. You can change the difficulty from the scoreboard menu.
* Added Straight Grip option for guns (Pistol, Burst Rifle, Skirmisher) where the barrel of the gun aligns with your controller. The old Gun Grip option remains the default, where the handle of the gun aligns with your controller.
* Swing and grapple are now much easier to target, especially at small surfaces like tree branches. Swing also has much better collision resolution that feels more natural (though it might nerf the ability slightly).
* Made all beam weapons easier to hit
* Fixed stealing weapons from dead players so you no longer have to wait until their body disappears
* Homing Missile no longer homes on dead players
* Improved birdflight wing alignment check for switching between flight and climbing while birdflight is active (e.g. you'll no longer fly backwards while pointing your arms inward to a card)
* Fixed team assignment.
* Fixed scoring and slomo display after a game restart.
* Changed some materials on Big Island
* Player arms made dark with highlighted status text for better visibility in all environments.
* Other miscellaneous fixes.
