Achievements now give you 50 gold when they’re unlocked (this will apply retroactively)
I thought it was a little too hard to unlock items at the start of the game. So achievements will now give you 50 gold when they’re unlocked! Already gotten a bunch of achievements? Don’t worry, you’ll get the same 50 gold for every achievement you unlocked before this update the next time you launch the game.

Sword Mans is coming to Mac and Linux this Friday, August 24th!
You'll have a chance to get the earbuds and penguin hat just for launching between August 24th and August 31st. After that you'll have to get them the old fashioned way, with drops or gold.

Update: Lives and Time Limits
July 20, 2018: Sword Mans version 1.1.2
New Stuff:
Added versus mode specific settings to a options versus mode options menu. The “number of rounds” and “random stage select” options can now be found in this new menu.
Added lives per round option to the versus options menu.
Added time per round option to the versus options menu.
This update will help bring a lot more customization to the versus gameplay. I experimented with having a few different game versus modes. The modes were rounds (what we had before), lives, and time. But then I figured it would be nice to have a time limit on a lives game, or play multiple rounds of lives games. So instead of separate modes, all three options are now present for you to mix and match as you see fit.
If you want to add lives or a time limit to versus mode, click the "Options" button on the stage select screen.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug where the AI in versus wouldn’t show its health on the healthbar.
Occasionally after exploding, players would suddenly switch from controller to keyboard controls. They don’t do that anymore.
Update: Chapter 3 Bugs

Just a few minor bugs fixes and things that needed to happen.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug with the chapter 3 achievement. It’s hard, okay?
Filled in the hollow section in flail heads so they no longer float in water.
The chapter 3 boss can no longer change skin tone at will.

Update: Summer Shenanigans and Chapter 3
June 21, 2018: Sword Mans version 1.1
This is the biggest update to date, so I'm happy to call this Sword Mans 1.1! Keep your eyes open for more content in the near future. Enjoy chapter 3!
New Stuff:
Added chapter 3. Start your summer by exploring a cold, dark cave! It will be unlocked once you complete chapter 1 and chapter 2.
Added new summer themed items: Umbrella hat, Innertube, Snorkel, Towel, Bone Armor
Added new Arena Stage: Beach. Enjoy a nice day out at the beach and see how long you can survive with the rising tides.
General Changes:
Updated hit registration. Hits should connect more consistently now, even with multiple sources of simultaneous damage.
Added the Skeleton and Skeleton Captain to the arena.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed another bug where the chapter 2 achievement wouldn’t get unlocked. It should actually be achievable now.
Fixed a bug where campaign levels with cutscenes would not correctly reload when all players have died.
Fixed a bug where chapters would sometimes unlock themselves without the previous chapter being completed.

May 18, 2018: Sword Mans version 1.0.4
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug where an invisible wall blocked part of the entrance to the cave in Ch 2 Part 2.
The level was still able to be completed, but you couldn't go as far into the cave as it looked like you could.

New Stuff
Added stage images for all of the versus stages that appear in stage selection.
Improved the layout of the co-op stage select screen so the campaign is split up by chapter.
Added a new hat and a new misc item, the Peasant hat and the Tunic. Both will be unlocked automatically.
Increased the health of the chapter 2 boss by 25%.
Added an achievement for completing chapter 2 (sorry it's a little late).
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where the Frequent Flee-er achievement would give more progress than healing that was actually done.
Fixed a bug where the health bar for the boss in chapter 2 showed significantly more health than it really had.
Fixed a bug where players would sometimes fall through the map at the end of chapter 2.
