New Launcher
The game's launcher has been updated. It should now work with any Windows computer. We are still working on adding Linux and Mac support.
Crash Fix Update
We just pushed out a patch that fixes in rare instances where the server can crash due to projectiles. Simply re-run the game to get the update.
The Guild Update
Greetings Swordians,
We have now fully released Guilds in the latest patch. You can now properly manage your guilds within the game. Some changes to guilds include:
1) Guild Only Lounge 2) Guild bank has been moved to be only accessible to Members instead of the Newbie rank. 3) Guild UI update .. Much has changed in the Guild UI.. Go check it out if you have a guild!

Steam Re-Release
As we previously mentioned based on the communities feedback we have completely revamped the entire game. Today, we release the Steam version of Swordia.IO for those who want to play thru Steam. We'll continue to update both versions and both versions are cross-play.

The Swordia Team thru many polling of the community has dedicated to move Swordia to an IO game! The Swordia Team completely rebuilt the entire game and currently it is no longer on Steam, for now... The game can be access thru https://swordia.io on both Desktop & Mobile with mobile versions & a Steam version coming soon.

We Hear your Crys & Public Playtest #1
We know,
We have disappointed many fans with previous versions of the game. Our development team has been taking in all the previous feedback and bug reports into account.
Therefore we have pulled the public live version of the game from the launcher until we fully iron out the game and fix all it's issues that the community wants fixed!
Today we're commencing our first PUBLIC playtest thru our Discord. Anyone is welcome to join and we improved a lot based on the feedback the community has given us.
Keep in mind at the end of the playtest all data will be wiped. The playtest is a structured testing process to test new mechanics, features, and iron out the bugs.

Lag Fixes & Content Update
Greetings Swordians,
We have pushed out an update that will fix the frame drops(lag) people been having with monsters over-spawning being the issue.
We also added new item pools to all monsters over level 30! You can finally grind to get that 30+ level gear. We will continue to work on new areas as well, we have a huge map expansion planned.. Stay tuned for more information on that.

Yes you heard right Swordia is back on Steam, and here to stay.. We took awile to regroup ourselves and we're glad to announce Swordia has returned to Steam WITH all your previous data intact. We've been privately working on improving the game since some of the community showed us all the things we needed to improve upon. While we did try remaking the entire game into a 2D atmosphere, we quickly realized that wasn't what our community wanted, so we immediately started privately working on the original game again with a dedicated team working around the clock to fix the previous issues we had and also to expand the content of the game itself.
We now have a privately run read-only wikipedia with all sorts of information from how to play the game to various game mechanics fully explained out... Including our chat commands explained into detail as well.. We will be expanding the wiki as time goes on to make sure it accurately gives our community everything they want to know, within reason.
We have greatly expanded our content and fixed a ton of bugs! We now have multiple new areas to farm in. Including the new ability to see the various monster levels instead of our old systems.
We expanded our guild & party systems to include more content for those as well... Though we would rather guilds figure out what was added content wise... We will go into detail about the expansion of the party system. We now have party commands, members in a party now SHARE XP which was a largly requested feature. We added many commands to both parties and guilds to provide ease of management and access. We also added a guild and party chat system.
Our PVP system has been updated to allow for PVP with any character over level 5. Though PVP is largely apart of our game we amped up the punishments for killing weaker players to discourage killing players way weaker than your character(s).
We also took into consideration all previous feedback and used that to not only improve the game but implement a lot of systems that the community requested.
Tons of new content has been added as well and we plan on releasing updates frequently!
