What is Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon?
Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon is a side-scrolling RTS game where the objective is to push the enemy forces back across the map to their base, before demolishing aforementioned base. Three factions (Vikings, Persians and Demons) bring a wide range of units, spells and structures and different gameplay styles. You can even use the army builder to mix and match units from different factions into crazy combinations!
Does it have single player?
Yes, Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon includes a 10 hour campaign exploring poignant themes of love, loss and friendship. Just kidding! It’s about a magic lamp, demons, and shawarma, packed full of great scenarios and fun mini-games.
Does it have multiplayer?
Yes, Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon supports both local split-screen and online multiplayer!
What’s this I hear about loyalty discount?
We are running a loyalty discount in the first week for all Awesomenauts and Swords and Soldiers HD players, giving a 10% discount for Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon on top of the 10% launch discount that's available to everyone! Do Awesomenauts players get something special?

Is Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon available on other platforms?
Yes, it is currently available on the Playstation 4 US Store Front and will be launching shortly on the EU Store Front. Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon will also be released on Nintendo Switch in the coming months!
How to join the multiplayer beta!
From now until November 4th, we're hosting running a multiplayer beta to gather feedback on Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon! You're invited to join us!
To get your key, all you have to do is join our official Discord channel. Once you’ve joined, follow the instructions in the #betakeys to claim your Steam key!
We can’t wait to see what kind of wacky strategies you all come up with, and look forward to facing off online! You can send us feedback using the links in-game.
Shawarmageddon Commences on November 6th!
Hello to all the Vikings, Persians and Demons out there!
We’ve marked a date in Chief Redbeard’s schedule to release Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon - note down November 6th! That’s the day Redbeard the Vikings return in a 10 hour single player campaign which goes from missing sheep and a magic lamp to a battle to prevent the Shawarmageddon! Dive into local and online multiplayer battles with your favorite army. The custom army builder even lets you mix and match units, spells and structures from across the three factions into your own perfect army!

Ahead of the release we are running a multiplayer beta with members in our official Discord Server (https://discordapp.com/invite/ronimo) - join us there if you want a Steam beta key!

Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon Beta is now LIVE!
The Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon PC Multiplayer Beta is finally here! The beta consists of the Quickmatch game mode so choose either the Vikings, Demons or Persians in this 2D side-scrolling RTS game and battle it out against your fellow Beta Besties! Climb the leaderboards and you may even take down a few of the devs! React with the 😃 emoji to get a Steam beta key sent to you as a private message, so make sure your private messages are enabled! Redeem the code on Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5414-tfbn-1352) and start styling on your opponents!
If you would like to talk about the game with your fellow SnS2S Beta Besties then hop on over to #general-sns in the Ronimo Discord, start a conversation about anything from your favourite units to your most dreaded strategies!
Since this is a beta, you may still find bugs and experience crashes. If you happen to find any bugs or if your game crashes, please report them on the official Swords and Soldiers 2 forums (http://www.swordsandsoldiers2.com/forum.html) by starting a new thread or adding to an existing one. Any screenshots, images or videos of bugs are much appreciated! You can also contact any Ronimo team member (the ones in yellow) in the Ronimo Discord, if you experience any issues with the beta.

In the build-up towards release we've been showing Swords & Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon to players at GamesCom and PAX. We had a great time meeting up with you all, and the response to playing the game was very positive and insightful!
Especially watching the excitement coming from the quick-fire strategic battles between friends was great fun. Based on this and other feedback we've decided to lower the price Swords & Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon, to improve everyone's multiplayer experience!
In order to achieve this, the pre-order option has been removed from the store page.
To everyone who already pre-ordered we'd like to say thank you! Because we really appreciate your support, we would like to present the following options:
- Hold on to your pre-order, and you'll be granted a second copy of the game at launch! This way you can introduce a friend and start battling immediately.
- Refund your pre-order, and re-buy the game at its lowered launch price.
New pricing!
When the game launches this fall, it will be available at $14.99! This lower price makes the game more accessible, and will help build a healthy multiplayer community right at launch!
