Bug Fixes Patch v1.2.30

Hey everyone! Today we're just pushing a small bug fix patch to clean things up before the next big update. We're not putting a date on that update yet because it's an important update that introduces a LOT of stuff to the game. We want to take our time and get it right.

Balance Patch Hotfix 1.2.27 (3/5/2021)

Balance Update v1.2.24

Hey guys,

We've spent a lot of time rebalancing the entire game to help along progression more. This patch introduces a lot of stuff, but mostly it introduces a level restriction on weapons which reduces their damage until you reach their level.

Balance Update 1.2.24 (2/26/2021)

Hotfix 1.2.16

Hey everyone,

After yesterday's patch we ended up with a handful of odd UI bugs that we fixed up today.

Fixed:

  • Escape key no longer breaks after leaving dialog
  • Dialog boxes no longer skip pages
  • Merchant window bug fixed


Patch 1.2.15

Hey everyone!

In preparation for the next major update we wanted to get a handful of bug fixes out to you. With the fixes we added a few fun items.

I was also getting a bit sick of the weather in Tirawyn, so now it's spring! Who cares what that groundhog says, anyway?

Just a heads up: The keybinds not saving issue is well known and we're working hard to get it fixed. Unfortunately it's looking like we may have to do a bit more work than we anticipated to get it fully functioning again, but it's our top priority right now and if it doesn't come out in a hotfix in the next few days you can expect it by next Tuesday and no later.

We thought we fixed the collections tab to now correctly store all items, but it came with a new bug.

Beta 1.2.10 - Collections Update

Hey everyone! It's patch day!

Today we're releasing the Collections System in patch 1.2.10.

This system adds in a new journal tab that lets you track all of the items you discover in game, and even better, you can store each item in your collection so they don't take up inventory or bank space. And the best part is that the collection is account wide, so you can quickly and easily trade weapons and cosmetics between different characters if you want.

I need to announce that we had a bit of a hiccup with our keybinds and they still haven't been fixed, but we'll be prioritizing the bug and try to get a minor patch out as soon as possible that gets them sorted. Thanks for your patience. I know it's annoying have to set them all back up each time you play.

Anyway, here are the rest of the patch notes!

Hello adventurers,

We hope everyone had a wonderful time at the Frostfall Event and we're sad to see it go. But we have some awesome stuff planned for the next update and we're excited to be back hard at work on it for you.

1.2.0 - Major Update - Frostfall Festival Seasonal Event!

Happy Holidays and Merry Frostfall from the Kindred Games team!

We're so excited to announce this HUGE update! 1.2.0 is now live and so much comes with it.

I know we took a bit of time to get this update out, but it's because we wanted to deliver some game-changing updates to streamline questing, update the inventory to work better with the gameplay and much, much more.

The most notable change though might be the Frostfall Festival Seasonal Update! We know everyone loved the Witch's Eve event so we thought why not outdo that event and bring a whole new area to the game, new NPC's, new quests and more new weapons and items.

But then we went one step further and introduced the very first boss to Swords 'n Magic and Stuff.

We can't wait for you to see what's in store for you.

Before we get to the patch notes though I want to apologize in advance for any lost items you may come across in this update. In order to keep things clean going forward with our new systems, many items were renamed, resulting in broken items. We did, however, take this into account and set up a system to hopefully transition your items into the new system, but we may have missed some and the system isn't perfect.

If an item was removed you'll be granted a bit of love from the dev team (worth some gold) so you can recoup your losses in gold. Sorry about your diamonds.

We also refunded your purchased bank slots with these hearts.
