Product Manager Letter - Status of The Firestone Legacy
Dear Immortals,
Throughout the last few weeks, we’ve been sharing a lot about new content and changes coming to SOLO; the upcoming update 2.0: The Firestone Legacy, the transition to Free-to-Play and the new territories.
We are all really excited about bringing you this content, but we are also trying to ensure everything is in a good state for release. It’s because of this that we would like to ask you for a bit more of your patience as our current progress requires us to shift the schedule back by one week.
We are now aiming to release 2.0 as well as the Free-to-Play change and the opening of new territories on March 3rd.
Since the game’s release, we’ve made it a point to maintain transparency with our roadmap, and it is with that same philosophy I’m bringing these news to you. The teams have been working hard on getting everything ready, but we do need this extra week to continue to work on the version before shipping it out for everyone to enjoy.
There are also things to look forward to however: With this extra time, besides working on open issues, we will be bringing a big batch of class balance & quality of life changes for both the existing classes, as well as the new ones, into the game together with all the other changes on March 3rd.
Additionally, there are two more adjustments that result from this schedule shift:
The current PvP season will be extended until February 24th.
The Battle Pass season will also be extended by a week and will end on March 3rd.
I would personally like to apologize for this delay. We had openly committed to a date which we are now not holding, and I sincerely hope you will consider the additional fixes and balance changes worth the extra wait.
We are looking forward to share the roadmap for the upcoming updates with you soon, there is still a lot more content in store for SOLO and we will be sharing some details in one of the upcoming livestreams.

The Firestone Legacy - New Dungeons, Zones and more!
All good things come in three's and our preview streams for update 2.0 are no different! After our QnA round and last week's stream showing off the 3 new classes in action, we want to take a more general look at what "The Firestone Legacy" has in store. If there’s ever a day when it behoves the immortals of Shenzhou to show their fellow players their appreciation, it’s Valentine’s Day! Grab the gorgeous new costumes from the Crimson Coin Shop from 10th February 2022 (10 AM server time) and while away some idle moments of romantic folly picturing your ideal wedding!
That’s right, with the costumes you learn the Image of the Fairy Dream emote which conjures up a wedding chapel around you and your crush.

The Firestone Legacy - New Classes in SOLO
The Fox Mage
The Fox Mage is half human and half fox. She follows the tradition of the spirit fox family and harnesses the spiritual powers of nature. A young fox mage cultivates a magical plant that enhances her weapon. With this wreath, she can unleash devastating ranged attacks. In addition, the fox mage creates a poison that drives her enemies insane. Alternatively she uses her knowledge of nature to heal her allies.
The Crystal Warrior has mastered combat with longsword techniques. He follows the culture of the Firestone clan and fuses a magical crystal essence with his body. This union makes him a being that is neither human nor spirit. The Crystal Warrior is able to further strengthen this magical bond, making him extremely resilient. To ward off attackers, he can also summon soulstones imbued with fire runes that cast defensive spells around him.
The Spirit Warrior
The Spirit Warrior defeats her enemies with deadly longsword techniques and ranged attacks. She can make the magical power of crystals flow through her body, which greatly strengthens her defense. In combat, she deflects attacks or shares the damage taken with her comrades in arms. If the Spirit Warrior transfers the power of the crystals to her weapon, her sword blows become even more deadly, especially when she unleashes her storm of blades on her enemies.

Community Stream - F2P, 2.0 and more!
So, uuh - those were some big news that dropped today, weren't they? We'd like to take the time to discuss them in some more detail and go in-depth to a degree that simply doesn't fit in a textbox. That's why you can expect our next community stream this Wednesday! Join Community Manager "Phaendar" as he sits down with Game Designer "Atmorph" and Product Manager "Nilin" to talk about the upcoming Free-2-Play switch, Update 2.0 "The Firestone Legacy", as well as the addition of Russia and the CIS states into the SOLO family.
They will be giving some further background on frequent questions around the topics (such as what you can expect from the appreciation package for existing players), as well as try their best to explain why some decisions were made the way they were and much more.
