We already showcased the new outfits and dungeons in our last post on update 2.1. Today we’re turning our attention to the PvP side of things, starting with the next PvP season – New Moon Society – as well as additions such as the Mirrorstone Cabin battlefield.
New Moon PvP Season
For the PvP enthusiasts among you, the next PvP season New Moon Society will start a week after the launch of update 2.1, bringing loads of fresh content to explore. This includes a cool selection of exclusive PvP rewards in the form of cosmetic items you won’t want to miss.
Mirrorstone Cabin
The Battle of the Continents gets a new battlefield in the shape of the Mirrorstone Cabin. The Qin League has set up a symmetrical arrangement of floating islands in the Sacred Valley to put its immortal students to the test. As flying is not possible here, you need to use portals to hop from island to island, but be aware that the portals don’t remain open permanently!
The battleground sees 20 players split into 4 teams. The battle lasts 10 minutes and the team with the most kills emerges victorious. There’s an extra twist with the Radiant Stone Pearls buff, which some players get at the start of the battle. The buff increases the points earned for killing an opponent, but players with the buff also become a juicier target worth 10 points for the team who vanquishes them. After dying, heroes respawn in the middle of the battlefield and are invisible for a short time.

Update 2.1: Challenging PvE and Mysterious Outfits
In our first post on update 2.1, we gave you a teaser of what’s coming up. This time around, we want to focus on some of the cool new content, such as PvE updates, new dungeons, version target outfits, fresh Leisureland activities, and of course new biographies. Dive headlong into your next adventure, unravel more of the story, and learn about some of the most important characters in the Swords of Legends Online saga!
Exclusive Outfits
In Shenzhou, the story is it that a young seamstress had a remarkable dream, the very night the biyouji started their mysterious invasion. When she woke, she quickly sewed together some incredible costumes inspired by that dream. Until today, she has never revealed what exactly it was she saw in that dream...
These exclusive costumes can be earned by completing the version targets. As with previous updates, the new outfits are available to you for completing the various game activities. All you have to do is earn enough points, for example by completing dungeons, biographies or minigames. Collect all three costume parts to complete the look!
Latest from Leisureland
Every hero needs to take a break from saving the world every once in a while. And what better place than Leisureland for winding down, now with some exciting new content.
The flying competition is being added to two new maps: Changhe Mountain and Taihua Mountain. Reach for the skies and admire the spectacular landscape – just don’t forget you’re supposed to be racing!
Don the chef’s hat, grab your ladle, and prepare some tasty treats for the Dracos in the new World of Delicacies minigame. Just watch out for that greedy glutton Bam Bam!
There’s also a new Leisureland season, during which you can earn the Cuiyan Spring Rain costume and a cool animated title.
Conquer New Dungeons
Both the Dracos and Qin League are desperate for your aid. While providing support in the threat posed by the biyouji, you discover the two new instances Three-Legged Sea and the Wild Demon Isle. But that’s just the beginning, as there are more instances and raids coming in this update!
Three-Legged Sea
The story of the Yellow Emperor who turned into a dragon and ascended to heaven is well known. That event brought about great changes to the mortal world. The rift opened by humans fell into the demon world, and under the influence of the biyouji, Ye Changgeng was able to break through and unleash chaos.Giant Frost Beast Once a regular beast living around the Three-Legged Sea, the appearance of the biyouji has transformed it into a gigantic monster. Its growing power has also influenced its surroundings.Shunwang A terrifyingly brutal demon, always followed by an army of smaller monsters who leave a path of death and destruction in their wake. Ye Changgeng A nightmarish demon and a master of illusion. He treats creatures smaller than him with the utmost of contempt. Under the sway of the biyouji, he came to Three-Legged Sea and caused a great deal of unrest. Devil’s Bones The Devil’s Bones were led to the Three-Legged Sea by the biyouji. Despite being nothing more than bones, this enemy can still teleport and move around remarkably quickly.
Wild Demon Isle
In order to pursue Zhong Wuchi, the Demonsword blacksmith, Kunwuzi asked the Leader of the Society of Astronomy to activate the Lunar Mirror of Distant Dreams and look into the future. After entering the oracular dream, the students of the Qin League reached Skywaste Island in the demon realm.Jisha They look like three-headed skates and live on sand. Able to spray fatal jets of sand at their enemies, Jisha are so incredibly large that they form a small depression wherever they rest. The beasts use these pits of soft sand to lure in and trap their prey. Raging Blade Demon A swift and perfidious demon, he has lived here for millennia. As a result, he knows every corner of Skywaste Island extremely well, and can always find a place to hide. Stone Sand Puppet Souleater Black Fog created this puppet and it obeys only its owner. Made of tons of sand, it can easily scatter and reform itself, giving it a decisive advantage over its opponents. Souleater Black Fog An extremely strong Souleater and the greatest demon on Skywaste Island. His appearance is truly terrifying, with six legs and an imposing stature. A black fog constantly surrounds him, making him invisible and perverting his enemies’ memories.
Additional Biographies
Five new biographies unlock new stories to some of Shenzhou’s most important characters. Follow the adventures of Qu Xiaoxi and her friend Yin Zhaoxia while they attempt to unravel the mystery behind her father’s disappearance. Learn the truth behind Haocang, the traitor who stole the Unnamed Sword, and discover how his story ties in with other events. Plus be enthralled by the background stories behind Princess Li Lingshuang, Lieutenant Yue Tianxing and Ying Qing’er!
New in the Shop: Oriental Costumes
Don’t miss the brand-new costume sets arriving from a mysterious far-flung land from 16th June (10 AM server time)! The costumes are available for all of Shenzhou’s heroes, irrespective of body type. Update 2.1: Attack of the Biyouji!
A little sneak peek for next week: We’ve got a killer update in store for you in Swords of Legends Online. Version 2.1 unravels more of the storyline in Shenzhou, bringing tons of new content, fun activities and plenty of action. Read on to find out what’s in store!
Update 2.1: Attack of the Biyouji!
The Story: Mysterious Intruders
Strange things are afoot in Shenzhou. Curious anomalies in the skies above Cloudrise suggest there must be a disturbance in space and time. Fortunately, the effects on Cloudrise have been relatively benign so far, and the Qin League has managed to discover the root of the phenomena together with the Dracos. It appears a huge biyouji has visited upon the Dragonstar District, breaking through the various realms.
Although the initial disturbance was soon brought under control, the problems haven’t stopped. The rifts between the realms have widened, allowing a large group of biyouji to infiltrate the Dragonstar District!
New Zones: Help the Dracos!
Dragonstar District
This is the busy Dracos’ place of work! They have created a portal allowing any hero willing to help to visit them. The Dracos have been overwhelmed by the situation, and need support dealing with the threat of the invading biyouji.
The Dragonstar District is the main hub for investigating and combating biyouji activity. All immortal heroes who come to their aid are requested to abide by the by-laws while visiting. In particular, please don’t feed the Dracos!
Realm of Light
The Realm of Light isn’t like the other demon realms. Most of the time, the skies here are crystal clear, with snow-topped mountain peaks visible in the distance. But not even this peaceful place has been spared the biyouji scourge. Reports are streaming in of attacks by these intruders. It’s up to you immortal heroes to put a stop to the biyouji onslaught before their actions can spread to other regions.
The Realm of Light has two levels: the upper level is known as the Peace Domain, while the lower level is the War Domain. These two domains don’t normally exist in the same moment of time, and have no influence on one another. But now a rift has opened allowing travel between the two planes, the problem being that demons from the War Domain are now appearing in the Peace Domain! The Dracos are counting on the aid of Shenzhou’s finest!
Game Improvements
In addition to the new content, you can expect to find some changes and new features in this update.
Revamped Raid Loot
The raids being introduced in version 2.1 will use a different system for apportioning loot. You’ll now be 100% guaranteed to get gear for each raid boss killed. The how and when you get your loot is much more predictable this way, making it much easier for you to gear up your hero.
Martial Artist
It takes time and practice to learn a class. To give you a helping hand on your path to true mastery, the update introduces the new ‘Martial Artist’ feature.
When you’re playing a class you’re not yet confident with, you can use the Martial Artist skill to quickly get to grips with your missions. At the same time, you’ll become more familiar with your class’s skills.
The Martial Artist becomes available once you have reached Student 2. You’ll find it in the bottom left corner of the Skills menu. Simply drag it to your quickbar to use it.
Please note that you’ll require a certain number of glyphs and Astral Blessings to use this ability. The skill is only there to pave the way to learning your class. If you already know the ins and outs of your class and skills, then using Martial Artist won’t be any match for your own abilities.

* In addition to the two new zones, the first patch for this update will introduce two new instances: the Wild Demon Isle and Three-Legged Sea. * PvP fans can enjoy the start of a new season, including the Mirrorstone Cabin battlefield for the Battle of the Continents, and the Heavenly Waterfall PvP map. * Leisureland’s also getting some new content. Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into creating fine dishes in the World of Delicacies, or enjoy the landscape as you whiz around the maps with newly added flying competitions. * Plus look forward to a raft of cosmetic items to earn for your favourite activities, including a new version target outfit, plus cosmetic rewards for PvP season and Leisureland activities.

Dragon Boat Festival
With the summer heat being so difficult to bear, more and more immortals are coming to Cloudrise to cool down a little in this paradise above the clouds. Ai Cong has brought a very unique method of cooling down with her from her home, Jiangdu. All interested immortals are invited to visit her on the Blessed Dew Terrace to try the Dragon Boat Race.
As a reward you can collect Water Swordleaves which in turn can be traded for an Avatar Set, a Star Cosmetic or some Fireworks.

Battle Pass
Between June 2nd and June 22nd (the end of the current season), you’ll be able to get more points daily, as well as get more points for specific activities.
