An optional feature has been added to skip the most difficult mazes. This has been the most frequent request from players. An artist rendition of Sydney's World (world map) has been added near the Great Library. Voice acting has been added for the Elf Queen. Minor map changes include Chicken Feathers now accessible by Airship in silver treasure chests.
The origin of the EverBark
After the credits, new content can be accessed by talking to the wizard Smoo. He will give you a memory spell explaining why he REALLY created the EverBark.
Nothing of importance is ever as simple as seems, especially in regards to colossal mistakes. Somebody else was involved...but perhaps not who you might suspect.
In addition to the new content, more voice-acting has been added to the game (many players have requested this). All of Smoo's lines in the game and the new content are voice-acted.
Full bookcase quotes access
It is now possible to access all bookcase quotes through a new level at the end of the game. This level was added due to several comments from players requesting such a feature.
To unlock this level, simply speak with Aubrey after the credits. She will transport you to a new map, and from there, you will have access to all the quotes in the game, (including some new content) arranged as follows:
*Human Library: There was a way to unlock it, but even if you didn't find out how, you can access it fully now. If you didn't find Dad during the game, he would like to speak with you.
*Elf Library: The entire library has been filled with new quotes; however you must have the Curse of Smoo to read them. These new quotes can also be accessed during the game.
*Elf Queen Castle: The elf queen has a question for you about mercy.
*Avigaard Throne Room: Nilrem reveals how he planned his ascension.
*Human Magical School: There are a couple of new quotes.
*Quotes from all the other maps have been stored in an additional library, where you can find a selection of new quotes not found in the original game.
