Just a quick update this week to check in with you and provide some insight into what we've been working on behind the scenes.
First off, you may have noticed there was no scheduled maintenance this week. Allow me to explain: Since the launch of the SYNCED Open Beta we've been gathering as much feedback as possible concerning the feel of our weapons and combat systems. Some players have reported sniper rifles feeling too OP, shotguns enjoying too much range, and LMGs delivering little recoil. We want to act on this feedback, but making such far-reaching changes to major gameplay systems requires care and attention, and can never be rushed.
Consequently, we decided to postpone our update for this week, and roll the changes into next week's update instead - giving additional time to apply and test the adjustments. Fresh new changes for a fresh new year. It makes sense, really. In the meantime, our Chip-Spree event is live in-game, offering a double drop rate for mods. There's never been a better time to experiment with builds and discover entirely new gameplay styles.
Happy New Year, Runners!
The SYNCED Team
SYNCED Open Beta Week 4: Mod Madness
Feeling a little lethargic after one too many holiday indulgences? Don't worry, SYNCED has just what you need to get back on track...
Week-long "Chip-Spree" Event (Dec 29 - Jan 6)
The New Year is almost upon us, so start as you mean to go on with a little help from your friends at SYNCED. For one week only, all mods will be subject to a double drop rate. This means more rewards for less effort, giving you the perfect way to experiment with exciting new builds. As the SYNCED Open Beta passes the half-way mark, we want to give our players the opportunity to mix and match their favorite mods, and to uncover fresh new playing styles never previously considered. Have fun!
Grab Permanent "Holidays in Haven" Rewards (ends Jan 6)
Our seasonal event is still live until Jan 6, and there are a range of weird and wonderful rewards to scoop up before it finishes. Remember, Holiday rewards are permanent (meaning they will be valid in the full release of SYNCED too) so this is an opportunity you don't want to miss!
Join the Community on Discord
The SYNCED Discord community is the perfect place to discuss strategies or to recruit a mod-hunting squad for your next drop into the Meridian. Our devs are also active within the community, and always eager to lend a helping hand. Feel free to leave feedback and suggestions too, as we're always seeking ways to improve the SYNCED experience.
Did you wander into Haven today with freshly plundered Nerva strapped to your back, only to notice things looking.....a little different? Okay, we have some explaining to do!
Civilization as we know it may have ended, but that's nothing a little festive fun can't fix! The first ever SYNCED in-game event is here: HOLIDAY IN HAVEN! This is your chance to grab some exclusive festive gifts that will carry over to the full release of SYNCED!
The Event
You'll be able to fully immerse yourself in holiday vibes from Dec 22 to Jan 6. During that time, you'll notice that some of Haven's more festive residents have taken it upon themselves to deck the makeshift halls with whatever they can find to really bring the holidays home!
The Loot
But that's not all - someone has scattered mysterious gift boxes all across the Meridian. Crack them open to claim the delicious Holiday Candy inside. Gather enough candy and you can exchange your haul for some truly outlandish rewards.
Have you been Naughty or Nice?
Once you've filled your pockets with Holiday Candy, it's time to cash in for some weird and wonderful items at the Event Reward Center. We've got a "seasonal" character outfit, some "festive" weapon skins, and even the Nanos are getting into the holiday spirit. These unique rewards are permanent (meaning they'll also carry forward to the full release of SYNCED) so grab your favorites before the event ends on Jan 6!
SYNCED PvP solo Mode is Live!
SYNCED PvP mode - Nerva Run is now available with a new solo mode. You'll be heading into the Meridian alone and fighting for precious Nerva with 9 other solo players.
Follow these steps to join PvP solo mode. Be warned, this is by far the most dangerous way to earn your Nerva fortune. The only one you can trust...is yourself!
Step 1: Select NERVA RUN at the SITUATION TABLE
Step 2: Select Solo
SYNCED PvP solo mode is a brand new game type and we are testing it for the first time. We welcome your feedback to help SYNCED become even better!

Rebinding Your Account to Receive Twitch Drops
Hi Runners!
We’ve received your feedback regarding Twitch Drops failing to arrive in-game. Our developers are working hard to fix this issue as soon as possible. One cause we have identifed involves players who linked their Twitch accounts to SYNCED Launcher accounts. In these cases, the drops you claimed on Twitch will be sent to the SYNCED Launcher account (which is currently inactive) and will not be sent to your Steam account.
This can be resolved as follows:
1. Unlink your Twitch Account and your SYNCED Launcher Account by clicking “UNLINK” button here
2. Log out of your SYNCED Launcher account by clicking “LOG OUT”
3. Log in with your Steam Account
4. Link your Twitch Account with you Steam Account.
After completing the steps above, you should receive all previously-claimed drops within 24 hours. Please note that you must have already created your in-game character to receive the drops you claimed.
