Current Waves packs five new tracks featuring chart-breaking artists such as David Guetta, Sia, and Charli xcx, pulled from popular playlists and made to move players.

More important than simply being a set of tracks, though, Current Waves continues a promise. We’re always looking for the music our fans want to play. It’s a promise to find the best way for players to feel the flow on every song.
We truly do see Synth Riders as a music discovery platform. It’s a great place to hear new tracks, hang out with your friends and, of course, play. We see the potential here as more than just a game–it’s someplace to take the music you love, even further.

Why is it that people and brands (AHEM) wait until Valentine’s Day to officially share the love?
This year at Synth Riders we’re delivering a new, free track that players voted on (‘Got You’ by Sunset Neon. It’s sick. You’ll love it.). We are also rotating in a new Synth Riders Experience that you can try once before you buy: Lindsey Stirling’s ‘Underground.’ Really, though, this is just the start of what we’re doing here, all year round. Why?

NEW Free Song: ‘Got You’ By Sunset Neon
We recently asked all you Riders out there which song YOU would like added to the game this February. The winner: Sunset Neon. (It was close, though! Prizm and Swingrowers also have songs that slap!)
This track, in particular, marries pop vocals and melodies with a synthy vibe and totally awesome bassline. It’ll for sure get you moving on the floor. As a thanks to all of you, it’s also now a permanent track added into the collection (It’s listed under the “Specials” music pack). Play it now and let us know how much you love it!
To celebrate our newest free song in Synth Riders we're also throwing down the "Got You Dizzy" Challenge in-game. Do you like Spirals? We'll see how you feel after this one. (and don’t forget to look for more heart-racing, love-themed challenges this month.)
NEW – Try Lindsey Stirling’s Synth Riders Experience™ for FREE!
When Lindsey Stirling’s ‘Underground’ dropped as a Synth Riders Experience, people went bonkers! It captured the frantic energy that Lindsey brings to her performances and transported you to the cyber-violin dimension. (If that’s not a thing, we’re making that official, here.) Last year we let players try it for free. Starting now, we’ve rotated in ‘Underground,’ as the new Experience track you can try before you buy!
While you can see a bit of what it’s like on a flat screen here, you really need the firsthand feel to truly appreciate what an Experience is all about.
Starting with the latest update, all players on Meta Quest 2/3 , PSVR2, and Steam get to play the ‘Underground’ once. In fact, it’s unlocked right now, so fire it up!

Fixed an issue where having a device language set that was not one of the game's supported languages would cause a hang.
Your modifier selections retain their state between areas of the game and when restarting the game.
Fixed one issue where Force Mode could be stuck on that caused scores to appear in the wrong leaderboard.
Fix for in-game news display issues.
Fix for READY / UNREADY state being incorrect or album cover art being incorrect when in Multiplayer.
Fix for Vanish Modifier working incorrectly.
Fixed song count for Specials Pack.

New Synth Riders Experience Brings Barbie™ to Life
Pink Power Hits VR with the Synth Riders Experience™ - Barbie™ Dance ‘n Dream
What’s it like bringing a K-Pop hit from Barbie™ the Album into a VR Rhythm game? It’s kinda like opening the doors and walking into a party — with a lot of pink all around you.
Hi, I’m Falcon from Kluge Interactive and this is the new Synth Riders Experience™ - Barbie™ Dance ‘n Dream. It’s a Barbie-fueled ride to FIFTY FIFTY’s “Barbie Dreams (feat. Kaliii).” In fact, this is the first time Barbie joins a VR rhythm game — and it’s available right now!
Here’s a small taste of what you can experience yourself right now in Synth Riders with this new DLC.
You’ll soak in some rays at the beach, groove at the roller disco, and dance through Barbie dreams in Synth Riders’ latest musical journey. It’s a whole new audio-visual Experience, from the team that delivered the one-of-a-kind immersive tracks collaborating with Muse, The Offspring, and Lindsey Stirling – to name a few.
Associate Creative Director Jaime Nunez-Lopez told me “The idea of Barbie dreaming that she´s on a journey through different dream worlds really fit the Synth Riders game mechanics and perfectly matched the theme of the song itself.”
And, really, we needed an excuse to have pink dolphins in a game!
Jaime adds, “It’s really all about bringing a huge smile to your face by the time the song’s done.” So pull out that power pink wardrobe and get yourself ready for the Synth Riders Experience™ — Barbie™ Dance ‘n Dream!
