Authentication Issues

Hello,

The steam WebAPI is down right now, which prevents authentication in TI.

Datacenter Maintenance

I apologize for not making news about this sooner as there had been some miscommunication between the data center and myself about when their maintenance would begin.

Some of the TI back-end servers are currently down for maintenance in the data center.

The data center is replacing an electrical feed that goes to half of our servers power supplies. The game servers, as well as one of the servers crucial to the authentication process are powered down and will remain so for approximately up to 12 hours.

When their maintenance is complete, they will contact me and I'll restart the servers.

Regarding some of the metadata changes to the games app

Alright some of you are curious; The new achievement, other settings, etc. These aren't available yet; The way steam..works.. I was forced to publish the changes so that I could prepare other things for the beta version (which will be opened up soon, and there will be a post on the forum for how to get into it) as well as an actual proper explanation for some of it.

My apologies for the confusion.

Short Maintenance

Back up

Okay sorry guys, servers are back up. There was a network outage, and one of the core systems didn't restart automatically.

Unexpected Downtime

There is something wrong with the servers, as you all have noticed about the maintenance. I'll keep you posted once I know what's wrong.

Update / October 17, 2014

Todays update isn't very large and most of maintenance time was related to the back-end systems.
However, the following is the list of notable game changes.


  • Added additional rooms for low level players
  • new player bonuses (details soon) are now in effect
  • when time runs out in FFA, scoring now actually happens instead of everyone losing
  • adjusted the recoil system a bit more to smooth it out a bit and reduce the insane shaking
  • speed up Ultima Ratio deploy speed
  • as50 now has damage capped against arms/legs/family jewels, no other changes made yet.
  • adjust the size of first person muzzleflahes and reduce the frequency of creating them so they are less distracting

Update / September 19, 2014

Our system Maintenance Is complete, and The following is a list of fixes/changes:


  • fixed issue with not being able to shoot through glass with shotguns
  • fixed a bug with friendly fire which gave team kills assists
  • fixed the issue with uprising terrorist spawns
  • fixed an issue with dogs where after the master was killed the dog would ignore nearby enemy targets
  • completely re-wrote all damage functions
  • ensure blood does not appear when damage is absorbed
  • fixed an issue with footstep sounds not playing under certain circumstances
  • allow weapon addons to be rented without permanently owning the weapon
  • rpg can be aquired in tdm/ffa from kill streaks
  • fixed a bug with the map in FFA
  • fixed a bug with showing certain hud elements during freeze frame that are confusing
  • changes to lag compensation for cars
  • castalla tdm is no longer beta
  • milan has a nav mesh and dogs will function correctly (this actually was actually done last update but not mentioned)
  • when swapping passenger seats in cars, don't switch to primary weapon
  • killing a teammates dog (friendlyfire) does not award points
