Surprises in the middle of an operation usually lead to dangerous situations but this time it’s the good kind of a surprise! The SWAT Commander demo will be available for a longer time after the end of Next Fest with a completely brand new mission – Breaking Point.
A group of well-armed suspects has stormed the offices of a financial company, accusing them of large-scale fraud. Hostages have been taken, so it’s up to the SWAT unit to rescue them and restore order!
We’ll let you know in advance when we’re ready to end the demo.

Playtest! - Ukrainian Games Festival 2024
Officers,
It's time for the 2024 Ukrainian Games Festival and our game is once again participating!
A collection of fascinating games for you to explore! And what better way to celebrate than to have everyone sample all the work we've done on our game so far with a brand new playtest!
You can play it right now on the game's prologue page:
The playtest will last until August 26th, together with the festival (but this may be subject to change). You get to revisit the Hot Pursuit mission and, among the latest developments in the game, enjoy the option to carry out the mission in three different modes:
High-Risk Warrant – A standard playing mode, the goal of the operation is to bring a specific individual into custody. Considering this goal, the location will be occupied by both civilians and combatants unaware of SWAT's intervention. Get the drop on the bad guys and never let your own guard down – danger may just be strolling down the next hallway, armed to the teeth.
Barricaded Suspect – SWAT becomes engaged in a far more volatile situation. The mission's location is filled with obstructed passageways and the hostiles know you're coming – they'll be hiding right behind them. Mind that no civilians are caught in the crossfire because they're still there and they're going to be scared by the ordeal. Expect your movement tactics to be foiled regularly, learn to adapt, bring the perp in.
Bomb Threat – This is no laughing matter, but a genuine terror attack situation. The squad has to locate an explosive charge and defuse it. Preventing detonation is a priority goal that won't be achieved easily with a new aggressive and well-armed enemy type present. Keep a steady finger on your trigger, you don't want to be spooked by civilians hiding on the premises from the dangerous maniacs. Lives – including your own – are at stake in this mode more than under any other circumstances.

SWAT Commander!
– Status report? – The name of the game has changed. – We're gonna need details.
Officers,
And details you shall receive. You're bound to have noticed that you're looking at a completely different game title in your announcements. Yes, "Tactical Squad: SWAT Stories" is now officially "SWAT Commander".
Why and what does that involve?
The main reason why we're doing this is because we want to refresh our game's image and start operating under a more concise, recognizable name. All in an effort to have our game reach more players more easily. A sort of a fresh start if you will. But are we expecting a new name to do the trick? Certainly not, after all the work and improvements that have been put into the game, we're bringing back more regular updates to let you know what we're planning – here on Steam, our Discord server, our X feed, perhaps even more? In fact, we may soon just have some news for you around the corner that involve great opportunities for SWAT Commander!
Is this a different game now? Are there new developers? Were you facing any problems?
None of the above, luckily! We're still working together as the exact same team on the exact same tactical team shooter simulating special police forces operations with both single player modes and co-op. Our previous name caused no problems for the game or the project's continuity. We all just strongly believe that this new title will be much more manageable and effective and telling the world what kind of game we want to bring it.
So, stay tuned for more updates. After all, it won't be much longer until you can play our game and, as mentioned above, we're going to have a lot to report on.
