Steam Leaderboards and Trading Cards!
Greetings Cadets! Today's update brings several new features!
Steam trading cards with beautiful concept art drawings and paintings
Steam Leaderboard support
For each character created, when you finish a jump (combat), your accumulated score with this character is sent to Steam. If the score is higher than your previous score, your position is updated in the Leaderboards.
There are currently two Leaderboards, one for Normal Mode and one for Hard Mode.
Access the in-game rankings on the second-to-last page of the Manual. This feature was being tested for some time in the game's Open Beta, and many thanks to all the cadets who tried it out!
Game statistics
We've also added a page in the manual (the last one) with game statistics. Many of these have already been accounted for since Early Access!
Randomly created characters
While creating your Cadet, you can click on the Dice icon to choose the race, appearance, and reputation randomly.
Other improvements:
The maneuver manager and deck builder (during character creation) now provide general information about all cards.
New Rational Reputation: Explode Signal.
The amount of Credits earned in events is now shown in responses.
A little more variation in the types of enemies faced during the Invasion of the Dragon Mothership.
Balance: Certain reputations are now easier to earn.
Fixed bug where Cadet could get stuck during a direct clash with the third dragon.
Fixed bug where Cadet could eject from inside the Mothership.
Many thanks to all of you for playing and for your praise and criticism of the game!

Other minor changes:
Attempted bug fix where playing in Steam Deck's Desktop mode was impossible using a Mouse.
Minor improvements made.
More improvements to the game are in the pipeline, but I wanted you guys to test the score support first. :)
Many thanks for all the bugs and comments left on the forums. See you later, Cadets!
Smooth jump update (b1.108)
After a long testing period, I've released the update in the open beta for all Cadets. It improves the game's stability during combat, among other things.
The detailed list of changes is below: https://steamcommunity.com/games/1932210/announcements/detail/670576125540302926
I've also updated the “old stable” channel with the previous version (b.107).
I'm already working on more improvements and new features for the game inspired by some feedback from the community! :)
Until then, Cadets!
Operation: Smooth Jump!
Hello Cadets!
Since the last update, I've been improving the combat memory management, especially the part dealing with destroying the units. I did this to improve the worst bug found so far: The game's soft-lock during enemy turns.
I've been testing the build with this fix for over ten days now, and the results are promising: I've already completed the game three times and not only has the bug not appeared, but I've also noticed improvements in some systems (especially when many things happen simultaneously).
I've put build 108 with these improvements into the Open Beta. This build will stay in beta for another ten days in testing until they were made available to everyone.
Other bugs and improvements have also been added:
Fixed a bug where some player attacks dealt more damage in Hard mode.
Improvements to the Level Up system that avoid/fix certain bugs.
Improvements and fixes to the turn system.
If you find any bugs, please report them in the forums. :) While we test this build together, I will turn my attention and time to further improvements, inspired by your feedback.
Thanks for all the reports, Cadets!
Bug fixes (build 107 i)
Hello Cadets!
In this update, we have the following bug fixes:
Fixes for the Endless Mode map not activating/appearing at the end of a run.
Fixes for cards with usage limits being able to be used in certain cases.
Temporary translations for some missing texts in Russian.
Thanks for playing and for the detailed bug reports.
Until the next update, Cadets!
Minor bug fixes (build 107h)
Hello Cadets! Some wingmates have been experiencing bugs that “soft lock” the game, especially during a clash with the Dragons (inside the mothership).
I've reversed some parts of the code that could do this in this build. I've also been investigating other (rare) cases of soft locks. Thank you for your patience!
I've also created a new Beta Channel (old_stable) with the latest stable build, b106c. Use this channel if you find any bugs and want to continue playing immediately or help with testing. This is accessible in the properties of the game on Steam (Beta tab).
Other changes:
Changes to the tutorial message to improve compatibility with Steam Deck.
Bug fixes to Russian localization texts.
Improvements to gameplay and balancing the Orks!
Hello Cadets! In today's update, we have more substantial improvements to the game. Starting with changes to how a Jump ends:
A jump now ends automatically when the number of ENEMY units (Dragon Drones) reaches ZERO, ignoring Meteors and other units in the board. The player will also receive the “CLEAN JUMP” Rank bonus even if there are Meteor units and the like on the board. In addition, when a combat ends automatically, all the Scrap units on the board are drawn to the player's ship. These combat changes take away the boredom that some cadets felt at the end of combat.
Improved reputation change mechanics:
You can now choose which reputation to change, but Cursed reputations appear to change only if the gods have MERCY on you. ;)
Balancing the Orks:
In addition to the bugs fixed in some Ork cards in the last update, I've made some changes to their starter deck. In addition, a new Ork Maneuver has been created: Orks Sword, a frontal electric attack similar to Jump Shot.
Details on the changes:
The Orks basic deck now contains Orks Sword, replacing one Orks Meditation.
A Booze Bath card was replaced by Fairy Riding in the starter deck.
Orks Blink now evolves with Skill 2 = Greater tile jump range.
Jump Bath now evolves with Skill 1 = Increased shield gain (2).
Minor improvements:
Improvements to the LOG interface.
New Rational reputation: Overloadr Capacitors (buys card of the same name).
Unicorn Cargo delivery Centers are now always present at all Guild space stations.
New sectors have almost double the chance of Unicorn Cargo appearing.
Improvements to unit code to prevent crashes during shift change.
Corrections to Locations: French, Korean, Italian, and Polish.
Until the next update, Cadets!
Minor bug fixes (build 106c)
Hello Cadets! Some fellow orks have encountered problems with their ships, especially their damage and jump systems. We've decided to release a quick update to fix these:
The Staff ship's weapon, Mana Turret, now deals damage on the Tile (as it should).
Fixed bugs where players could take damage when using direct attacks on Tiles and then move or do a micro-jump to the same Tile.
Thanks and see you next time!
Minor bug fixes (build 106b)
Hello Cadets! Today we have just a small series of bug fixes:
Attempt to fix a bug that prevents players from switching languages.
Attempt to fix a bug that would crash combat.
Fixed bug where Fair Trade card would not exhaust when used.
Unicorn Cargo Delivery achievement now unlocks with just three deliveries (previously seven).
That's all for today. If no other serious bugs occur, the next update should contain fixes to some locations and other improvements.
See you later, Cadets!
New graphic options and some improvements!
Hello, new and old Cadets!
Over the last few days, I've been collecting feedback from various players, both on the forums and in Reviews (good or bad). Many thanks for all the criticism and comments, here are the first improvements based on your feedback.
Two new graphics options, one to change the resolution of the game in Windowed mode and the other to darken the effects of the game's transitions, which burn the eyes of some Cadets:
I've also made improvements to the “Steal” mechanic of the “Thief” reputation:
It should now be easier to play the card over the reputation. In addition, I've made some small balances to the mechanics, including it being easier to steal now, but with a limitation of only being able to steal once in a given sector (it resets if the cadet goes back and forth in the sector).
Balances have also been made to the Reputation Exchange mechanic, so that it should now be more difficult for a “Cursed” reputation to appear in the exchange.
Last but not least, the Achievement related to issuing an SOS should now also unlock when Ejecting from the Ship.
This game was made by a tiny team of three people (me being the main developer) plus the musician, and with very little money. That coupled with the fact that the game didn't sell well during early access should give you an idea of how much care and hard work we put into it. Many thanks to all the positive comments and criticisms given to the game!
