Coming next: A new character, weapon and map in the next big update

Hi ninja,

It has been a while since the last time we post the dev log. Today, I'm glad to share some news to let you know what's coming next.

As the title said,the new update would include a new playable character and a new weapon.
Here is a screenshot of our new character with the new dual-wielding weapons. Since we don't have any dual-wielding weapons before, we decide to add one as our new weapon. This weapon attack style would be fast and quick with better VFX.

We actually also improve all of our weapons' VFX at the same time. You can try once the new update is released.

The new map, there are many stories I can share with you about how I create that. But in short, the map will 1:1 restore the actual castle in Japan: Nijo Castle.

Although the castles in the game do exist in history, most of them have disappeared, or only the castle basement walls remain. Nijo Castle is different from them, and its overall preservation is perfect, and it is still one of the famous scenic spots in Kyoto.
After carefully collecting information and evaluating the feasibility, we decided to try to restore the structure of Nijo Castle 1:1 in the game. Afterward, we can make some adjustments according to the needs of the gameplay.

You might notice the new map is in the day scene. Because the previous levels were all night, we wanted to make this unique map a daytime scene.







In the next update, we also add full controller support and other improvements. I will post another blog about the latest version in detail once all things have been done. Patch Note Jul.29

Bug fixed:
Update the logic of how the boss enters the battle, which prevents players enter the boss fight early.
Fixed the bug when sometimes climbing the wall can cause the character to become no collision and disable input.
Fixed the secret path of the Sumoto Castle level sometimes might block the player.


New Function or adjustments:
Add notice UI when an enemy can be assassinated.
Add color notice if the hook can aim a target.
Reduce the maximum range the hook hit.
Adjust aiming settings to avoid sometimes it being blocked by the model.
Slightly increases the damage of Kunai.
Add a button tips on how to close the top tutorial scroll.

Patch Note Jul.26

Bug fixed:
1. Fix the bug when pressing "ESC" with Map opening or Animation playing can cause the game input system to be disabled.
2. English key bing image in the setting panel now can display correctly.

New Function:
Add a new function that the player can directly change crouch to sprint by pressing the SHIFT key.
