Hello everyone,
we're pleased to announce that after a good amount of beta testing, our new psychological horror, yuri visual novel / adventure game "House of Chavez" is coming out on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1965960/House_Of_Chavez/
the game is planned to go live the 22nd of this month!
The game will have two characters you can fall in love with, Dolores and Silke. They are both different in how they act and look, and they each have secrets from their pasts. Can you uncover their secrets and finish the story with them still alive?
Based on feedback from beta testers, we have added two difficulty modes. In Easy (the default) you can skip the minigames immediately, while in Normal you can skip them only after you fail them three times.
Of course, the game is an adventure game so there will be puzzles to solve and things to interact with in the environment. If players get stuck, a game guide will be published to help them out.
Last but not least, the game will feature several spooky situations and scenes, relying more on the psychological aspect, the fear of the unknown, , rather than showing lots of blood and violence.
We just updated the game to fix some issues that were preventing the game from working correctly on Steam Deck. Desktop version is unchanged.
Last 48h for out new psychological horror visual novel / adventure game crowdfunding campaign
Hello,
we're entering the final 48h of our crowdfunding campaign for our next game, a psychological horror visual novel with point'n'click gameplay and various minigames, called House of Chavez.
Good news: the base goal has been reached already, and currently we're aiming to reach the second stretch goal.
We have already finished several new images featuring the two love interests, Silke and Dolores:
And for those interested more in the gameplay, this is a work-in-progress of an old school computer (in the game will be used to browse the local library archives):
- by mistake swapped Loren with Karen sprite in the ending if you choose to remain loyal to her - if you tried to use Rei's Debilitating Strike skill without him having any melee weapons the game would crash. Now it works, albeit you'll do trivial damage
The Kickstarter for "House of Chavez" is live
I'm happy to announce that the Kickstarter for our next project, House of Chavez, is now live.
House of Chavez is a psychological horror adventure/visual novel, with yuri romance. Yes, you read it right, this time it's not a plain visual novel, but it has several point'n'click gameplay features.
An inventory, interacting with the environment, a clue system, a map, etc. Also, we're trying to implement more cinematic scenes to improve the immersion.
For those interested more in the... romantic aspect, we got you covered. You'll be able to engage in a romantic relationship with Silke, a mysterious blonde working as waitress who was a caretaker for your grandma Maria:
Similar to our previous games, the romance element will involve a gradual development of the story, with tender moments rather than just a rapid sequence of explicit images.
All the love scenes will be available censored in the base game, with optional nude version:
We also have a stretch goal to include Dolores (currently a secondary character of the story) as bonus love interest!
Visit the page for more info and I hope that you'll decide to back our next project! Thank you.
ToA: An Elven Marriage version 1.0.5
What's New in 1.0.5
- fixed an issue that would prevent getting past the level up screen if you went past level 34 (all skills learned, but still skill points awarded). Now you can still level up to 45 (level cap), but obviously you can't assign any more skill points past level 35 since all slots are full.
Steam achievements enabled
I forgot to update the Ren'Py libraries so in some computers the achievement weren't working. Now they should work on all configurations! Sorry about that. (you can use the sync achievement in gallery screen to quickly add them to Steam if you have already unlocked them)
ToA: An Elven Marriage 1.0.4
What's New in 1.0.4 - fixed a crash on Ahrka and Triberg introduced from previous vendor fix!
ToA: An Elven Marriage coming to Steam the 16th!
We're happy to announce that the first Loren spin-off, ToA: An Elven Marriage, will come to Steam the 16th of current month!
Features - four love interests: continue previous romance with Myrth and Rei, or romance Lydia and Nathir
- LGBTQ friendly, offering both straight and homosexual romances, and featuring a non-binary secondary character, Gruff
- 195,000 words of plot (Loren had 230,000 including the DLC)
- branching plot with quest offering different outcomes
