Patch Notes
Characters
- Pirate doesn't get gold from other players Tavern rolls unless they have gold to lose.
- Warrior can now use the Wooden Stake.
- Swashbuckler now, correctly, gets extra turns from Creatures.
- Players can no longer cast Spells whilst the Sage is viewing cards (was causing crashes).
- Auto-killing Elementals with str/cft choices as the Elementalist no longer results in crashes.
Enemies
- Metamorph will replace 'pick your combat type enemies' with enemies of the same combat type chosen at the start of the fight.
- Enemies that can be evaded (e.g. City Watch) no longer prevent players from encountering more cards if the player chooses to evade.
Spells
- Marked for Glory no longer gives an extra +6 on rerolls.
- Players can no longer cast spells they have begun discarding.
Objects
- Hungering Artefact correctly discards cards in a players space at the end of the turn.
- No longer able to alchemise wanted posters whilst they're being redeemed.
- Issue fixed where multiple Objects could discard an enemy at the same time (e.g. Suleiman's Seal + Holy Water) causes crash.
Events
- During Witching Hour you don't gain Spells if you miss a turn.
Followers
- Devout Blacksmith uses the correct discard pile.
- You can use Champion of Light multiple times in a turn.
- No longer have to roll twice for Wart after a Character encounter.
- Encountering multiple Objects with the Gremlin (Treasure Chest > Gremlin > Talisman from Chest > Gremlin) causing crashes fixed.
Strangers
- Nefarious Vizier can't force alignment changes in alignment locked characters.
- Lantern Spirit draws cards from the correct Adventure Deck.
- Teleport now works correctly when cast via the Grumpy Wizard.
Spaces/Terrain/Places
- A 13-15 roll at the High Temple awards 1 Strength and Craft when you have the gain 1 Strength quest.
- Planeswalker no longer allows players to teleport to squares that have been moved or removed.
- Preventing life loss doesn't prematurely end the City of the Ifrit encounter.
- Town Square no longer crashes if all cards in the deck are burnt and no other cards are in play.
- Pawnshop should now be able to handle concealed iteams (Bag of Carrying etc).
AI
- AI should be smarter with how it uses the Alchemy spell.
- AI should be better at evaluating chances of winning combat.
- AI less likely to alchemise wanted posters with Assassins Guild ending.
- AI Spy's evaluation of which Characters to Shadow improved.
- AI less likely to try to change alignment during Lightbearers.
- AI valuation of Sunshield improved.
- AI better evaluates taking a quest from the Portent on the Crown of Command.
- AI should no longer use Hopper when it doesn't need to.
- AI Devil's Minion teleporting evaluation updated.
- AI should no longer place Terrain cards on the same space type (e.g. Desert Terrain on Desert space). (*)
- AI no longer gets stuck using Conflagration when other Characters are immune to magic.
- AI crash caused by it having Barrier whilst certain combinations of spaces have Terrain changes now fixed.
Other
- No longer able to burn completed warlock's quest
- Players who miss a turn after rolling a 1 for movement can now move the Reaper and/or Werewolf regardless.
- Player on the Crown no longer ends their turn if the Merchant evades a Dragon during the Pandora's Box ending.
- Evading life loss no longer negates 'in addition to' effects when defeated.
- Issue with claiming dead player's discarded spells causing loops resolved.
- Cards that offer menus (Enchanter, Pixie, Cerberus etc) no longer have disappearing card art.
- Lycanthropes now kill opponents when the Blood Moon ending has been triggered.
- Cards now return to their space if you have clicked to view cards on space.
Misc.
- Problem where turns occasionally save mid-move now fixed, all turns will reset to the start if saved and reloaded.
- Unpurchased expansions and Characters show as available to purchase instead of coming soon. (*)
- Colourblind mode now introduced in game. This can be found by going to Options > Advanced Options and toggling the mode off. This is a quick fix solution that keeps the Stat numbers white at all time so they contrast better - for the Dragon expansion we will research this problem further to find better solutions.
- Rare instances where new players to join an online lobby not sharing their expansions should now be fixed, the host should have access to all expansions owned within the lobby.
