Talisman: The Horus Heresy leaving Steam on 22nd June
Today we’ve got an update for you regarding the future of Talisman: The Horus Heresy.
As of 22nd June 2020, Talisman: The Horus Heresy will be removed from all platforms where it is currently being sold. Current owners and anyone who purchases the game before 22nd June 2020 will still have access to the game in their purchase history, and any unused Steam keys for the title can still be used in the future, however no new ones will be issued.
Please note that you will still be able to play Talisman: The Horus Heresy online.
We have had to remove Talisman: The Horus Heresy from storefronts due to the publishing rights expiring. Don’t worry though, we’ll continue to publish Talisman: Digital Edition and Talisman: Origins, the other digital adaptations of Talisman.
In order to allow players to add Talisman: The Horus Heresy to their games library before it is removed from store fronts, we’ve created a discounted ‘Complete Your Collection’ bundle on Steam, along with offering a discount on both iOS and Android. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to pick up Horus Heresy, this is it!

Skulls for the Skull Throne
It’s the return of the Skulls event hosted by Games Workshop!
This weekend will see the release of a myriad of free content across a number of GW license holders so games like Talisman, Talisman: The Horus Heresy, Warhammer 40k: Vermintide 2, Total War: Warhammer and much more will see updates today that will enrich their games at no cost to their users.
As many of you will know we’ve been working on the Deep Realms and Woodland with the first being scheduled to release… well, around about now. Well, now. Deep Realms is out now! As part of the Skulls for the Skull Throne event, Deep Realms will be the very first expansion released by Nomad Games that is FREE for all users.
The Deep Realms expansion for Talisman: The Magical Quest Game features two new Realms to explore: the Wraith Lord’s Domain and the Rat Queen’s Lair. Adventurers may brave the rickety bridge in an attempt to cross between the game boards found in The City and The Dungeon expansions. Heroes can also choose to delve deep into the crypt of the Wraith Lord or the nest of the Rat Queen.
Along with the free release of Deep Realms you can also catch the base game at 75% off and all expansions at up to 50% off whilst the Skulls event lasts.
Not only that, we’re also giving away Rogal Dorn and Samus, two new characters, for Talisman: The Horus Heresy! Traverse the galaxy under the banner of the immortal Perpetual or the Lupercal and help change the Tides of Wars by defeating unworthy enemies as two new Warlords. As of today Rogal Dorn and Samus will be available for FREE to all T:HH users.
Similarly to T:DE, Talisman: The Horus Heresy sees 75% off it’s base and up to 40% off all expansions whilst the Skulls event lasts.

Russian now available in Talisman: The Horus Heresy!
Thanks to the good folk over at Zone of Games.ru we are able to update Horus today with a completed translation of the game in Russian.
You can change the language in the settings and run the game in your native language to make the experience a bit easier.
This update will also be available on iOS and Android for those that have the game on those platforms.

- Loyalist strategy icon now matches the other icons
- Reinforcements card - players will be able to gain resolve and fate above their starting amount
- Reinforcements card - should not decrease resolve or fate to starting amount
- Ferrus Manus is now able to trade on Mars when his resource is below three
- AI can pick an ending when the host leaves at the start of a online game
- Tylos Rubio's Force Gladius will add one to your strategy points
- Ithraca City and Valika Junction will now let you gain a resolve
- Delivering cards for a quest will now say the correct text
- Prohibited Zone now says resolve instead of lives
- Life Drain Incantation now says resolve instead of life
- Pillage Resources will now only work when there is someone who has resource
- Primus Medicae power armour now works when you roll a 4, 5 or 6
- Banner of Blood now has card art
- Ka'Bandah's power armour now works when you roll a 5 or 6
- Can now only gain up to two resolve on the Macragge space
- Palatine Blades units will not auto win when rolling a double

The Isstvan Campaign expansion has been added!
The expansion includes 7 new playable Warlords, many new Stratagems and Dataslates plus the whole Isstvan System region to explore.
The new Warlords are -
Fulgrim, Perturabo, Armillus Dynat, Ferrus Manus, Nathaniel Garro, Saul Tarvitz plus 18 Chaplain variants.
Plus many bug fixes and other improvements.
