A small but very important update was implemented this morning.
Interface
in CTF mode, we made it easier for our tankers to coordinate themselves on the map.
We added location indicators for:
Both blue and red base location
Both blue and red flag location when not in its base
Effects
We added the new tank destruction physics and animations for the entire I skin line.
Known Issues
We're experiencing issues with the matchmaking, it doesn't always work as it's suppose. We will continue working on fixing this issue.

Introducing Squads
Players can now form squads with their friends.
The maximum number of players in a squad is 4 (four)
To create a squad, a player simply has to click on the special button near his avatar, or by inviting a friend to his squad.
A player can only invite players that are on their friends list, to a squad. Only players that are not in a battle, a lobby, or in another squad, can be invited.
Any player can request to join another player's squad if that player is the leader of the squad and it's not full.
Only the leader of the squad can start searching for a battle. Only the leader of the squad can promote another player to leader.
If the leader of the squad leaves the squad intentionally a random player is promoted to leader. If he leaves by accident (error or disconnection), the squad will disband (this is still being worked on).
A squad member can share teleport charges with the other members of the squad.
A squad member will automatically be kicked out of the squad if he leaves the battle definitely, or if he fails to reconnect to a battle within 2 minutes after leaving. If the leader of the squad leaves the battle, the rest of the squad will remain in the battle, but the squad will be disbanded.
Matchmaking Squads
Squads will first be matched with other squads.
Squads will be matched against each other, according to the member with the higher rating on each of the squads.
Players that are in the same squad are displayed with the same color in the lobby.
Battle interface update
Players can now see a more detailed information about their actions in battle.
The battle interface will now show:
solo or assist kills
flags captured or returned
healing
ATTENTION! Because of a nasty bug, the timer for the daily bonuses has been reset. However, the rewards that you already received, will remain in your garage.

Daily Bonuses
Today, we released daily bonuses, which can also be called a month-long quest. Doing 1-2 actions per day, you can obtain crystals, charges for your teleport, and even container shards with which you can assemble a container.
How do you get the daily bonuses?
Right below the daily quests icon on the main menu, you can now see a button that looks like a teleport. To many new players, this button will only appear after they played 2 battles to the very end.
Once you've clicked the button, the menu of the daily bonuses will appear. The teleportation device with the button on the left, and the surrounding map on the right. You will then have pick one of the yellow dots on the map and teleport one to your garage. The yellow dots represent different rewards.
Teleportation rules
The teleportation device can only be used 31 times. After that, it will be replaced free of charge.
You can teleport one item every 20 hours.
The progress of the quest will not be interrupted, even if you can't make it into the game a few days.
Most of the time, there are several items on the map, but you only need to pick the one you need now. You can pick the rest later.
The more items you teleport, the better your teleportation device will get. This will make your device better, allowing you to teleport items from distant places.
The rewards are different for every quest cycle.

Crystals and X-crystals
Teleport charges that allow you to play ranked battles
Container shards which grant you a container when you gather the required number of shards.

Patch Notes 27.11.2017 - Season two and balance changes
Танкисты, сегодня завершился рейтинговый Сезон 1, и с началом следующего произведена балансировка вооружения.
Сезон 2 продлится до 25 декабря 2017
Всем игрокам понижен рейтинг для старта новой борьбы за пьедестал. Итоги Сезона 1 в ближайшее время будут опубликованы в разделе «Новости».
Что изменилось:
Игроки в Бронзовой лиге теперь получают больше очков рейтинга за победу, чтобы средние по скиллу игроки быстрее переходили в Серебряную.
Новые граффити в награду за сезон.
Из наград за выход в Мастер-лигу убран контейнер «ХТ» (вскоре его можно будет получить другим способом).
Балансировка вооружения
К началу сезона проведён анализ игровой статистики по вооружению, в связи с чем внесены изменения в характеристики.
Изменены характеристики корпусов (почти все увеличены), подробнее см. на Википедии по Tanki X.
Комментарий разработчиков:
Лёгкие и средние корпуса гораздо популярнее тяжёлых. Нет смысла повышать им здоровье, потому как по эффективности они имеют высокие показатели. За лёгкие и средние корпуса веселее играть, поэтому мы решили повысить динамику всех корпусов, отдельно повысив скорость «тяжей» относительно старого баланса.
Пушки
«Рикошет»:
Больше не наносит урон по себе.
Увеличена дальность нанесения урона с 45 до 55 для максимального и с 90 до 110 для минимального.
Увеличен минимальный урон с 10% до 40%.
Увеличен радиус снаряда с 0.5 до 0.7
«Молот»:
Уменьшено число дробинок при выстреле с 21 до 14.
Повышен урон за 1 дробину: минимальный с 36 до 54 (без модулей), максимальный с 51 до 76 (с максимально улучшенными модулями).
«Рельса»:
Снижен минимальный урон с 565–800 до 510–720 (первое число — минимальный урон без модулей, второе — минимальный урон с прокачанными модулями).
Снижен максимальный урон с 1140–1600 до 1025–1440.
Понижена сила пробития с 75% до 50%.
Комментарий разработчиков:
По статистике «Рельса» как универсальная пушка была самой популярной. Изменения направлены на то, чтобы вооружение на поле боя стало более разнообразным. Мы думаем над более интересными доработками других пушек, например, обсуждаем возможность делать снаряд «Рикошета» самонаводящимся на небольшом расстоянии от врага.
Модули
Уменьшена зона срабатывания у мин, а задержка взрыва увеличена.
«Усиленная броня» теперь сокращает входящий урон на 40%.
У «Турбоскорости» увеличено время действия, сокращено время перезарядки.
«Адреналин» теперь срабатывает при большем количестве здоровья на 1-4 уровнях прокачки.
Сокращено время перезарядки у «Силового поля».
Увеличен радиус действия и атаки у «Дрона-турели».

Greetings, tankers! In today’s episode, we’ll be telling you about squads and the new daily bonuses. We’ll also be announcing the Black Friday sale and the results of the YouTube contest.

But first, we have some hot news from the Tanki X world. Last week, we’ve witnessed the rise of the machines. The tank bots escaped from the training levels and sneaked into levels with higher ranking battles. While our developers were busy keeping the situation under control, our brave tankers came to our aid and destroyed the bots. However, for testing purposes, we might see bots in battles of various ranking again in the future.
Maps
This week, our development team decided to surprise us by releasing the first redesigned maps. The two most popular maps in the game have only been slightly affected. On Sandbox, an additional cover has been added, to mirror the barn on the other side of the map. Area-159 has become slightly more open as a result of a few covers being removed.
More significant changes have been made to the Rio map. The flag on the “Frontier” side of the map has been moved from the elevated platform to the ground, making it more difficult to capture. Additionally, the map has become more symmetrical and a few additional covers and passages have been added.
This is only the first step towards balancing all of our maps. The developers are planning to later fix the design of the objects in the changed maps, and then go on to enhance the other maps and release a new one called Repin.
Squads
Let’s move to our main topics.
The development of squads has affected many other features of the game. We’ve finished our work on the friends list, improved the battle interface, and added new matchmaking parameters.
The long-awaited Squads feature is already being prepared for release!
You can only form a squad with players that are on your friends list. The maximum allowed number of players in a squad is 4 (four).
One of the perks of playing in a squad is that the members of the squad can share teleport charges with each other upon entering a ranked battle. Helping and supporting your comrades is the first step to improving your team play.
Let’s say, for example, that you’ve formed a squad of four and you want to start looking for a battle, but one of your squad members doesn’t have enough teleport charges. In this case, the rest of the squad will see a special window popping out with the option to donate teleport charges to their teammate. You can then start the battle when everyone is set up and ready.
To make your experience more comfortable when searching for a team, we’ll soon be releasing the General Chat and the Squads Chat.
We’re also planning on adding private messages and other tabs in the future.

Daily Bonuses!
Very soon, we’ll be adding daily bonuses.
What this means is that you will be able to scan the surrounding area on a daily basis and extract valuable container shards and crystals with the help of a special teleportation device.
The more items you find, the better your device will become with time. The scanning range of your device will increase allowing you to extract more valuable rewards. Based on our calculations, you will be able to collect enough shards to assemble an XT container, during the first month. The container can drop one of the best skins currently in-game.
The device can be used 31 times, after that, it has to be replaced. Even if you don’t login for a period of time, the progress of the mission will be saved and you can continue from the same spot.
By the way, with the release of the daily bonuses feature, we’re going to witness the first ever in-game appearance of a character from the Tanki X world. He is the scientist who invented the teleportation device you will be using.
Very soon, a second character will be making its appearance. It is going to be a cute robot girl, that will be training our recruits, making everything more understandable and interactive.
YouTube Contest
Our grand YouTube contest is now over. More than 50 participants have submitted a total of 236 new videos about Tanki X. We would like to thank all our active tankers.
Our judges already picked three videos that are the best among all the submitted entries.
The winners will receive branded souvenirs, X-crystals, and containers, as well as the opportunity to regularly run contests sponsored by the administration of the game.
Additionally, every participant that submitted at least one entry that meets the terms of participation, will be rewarded. The links to their channels are in a topic on our Forum.

Patch Notes 22.11.2017 - Map Balance
Hello, tankers!
Big day today, as we've just made the first steps towards map balancing. We've updated graphics and other materials, as well as optimized the client by fixing crashes and other fatal errors, as a result, we got 500 Mb worth of update.
Maps
We updated the Rio, Sandbox, and Area-159 maps.
Our game is slowly moving away from its progenitor "Tanki Online". However, in order to pay tribute to the legendary game, we've decided not to change the maps from Tanki Online too much, but rather focus on developing new cool content. The small updates to the old maps are aimed at making them comfortable to be played on. The only exception is the maps with huge imbalance in terms of respawn points. The most popular example of such a map is Rio. It is this map that underwent the most significant changes.
Changes to Rio:
The red team's flag has been moved down to the ground. It now makes it harder to capture.
The map has become more symmetrical, so that everybody playing on it, has now equal chances of winning.
To eliminate a small imbalance that was favoring long-range turrets, we've added additional covers on the ground, around the respawn area.
Changes to Sandbox and Area-159:
Both these maps underwent slight changes, as they are the most balanced, hence, the most popular. The changes were aimed at making them comfortable to be played on.
On Sandbox, we've added an additional cover to the opposite side of the house/barn.
On Area-159, we've reduced the number of useless covers that were reportedly only ruining the game experience.
Additionally, we fixed the error in the tutorial, that was allowing players to continue the training after they've completed it.

Patch Notes 16.11.2017 - Matchmaking Ranges

Matchmaking ranges
We released an update this morning, in which we've changed the reputation points ranges according to which players are matched in ranked and quick battles:
0-170
140-300
150-550
450-850
650-999999
We continue working and testing the matchmaking system along with the rating system, gradually increasing the number of online players. Because there aren't so many players with high reputation points playing the game, we've increased the reputation points ranges in the upper side of the ranking ladder, while in the lower side, we've made it so that these different ranges intercross each other more often. The system will initially try to match players with a very close reputation points indicator, however, in case the system won't be able to find such players, it will look in the in the pool of players that are in the rating intercross area.
The Deathmatch mode and the Space battles have one common range, except for the newbies, who are matched with players with under 170 reputation points. We're looking for ways to change the format of these modes, in order to make them more popular.
Other changes:
We updated the text in the X-crystals section of our in-game store. It should now be clearer.
We've added bots to the initial few levels of the Bronze league. We're testing different settings and behaviors of bots, in order to improve their work.
Players to have lost upgrades levels of their mine module, due to a bug in the tutorial, have been compensated with a nice bonus of +1 upgrade.
