Software Update: Daily Mission Challenge is now Live!
HI all,

The new software update is now live and includes the brand new Daily Mission Challenge.

What are Daily Missions?

  • A new single player mission that is generated every day
  • The squad configuration, map, rule set, and enemies are all randomized each day - It'll be a surprise every time!
  • You get one try per day
  • Pass or fail, you get a score that is registered to the daily leaderboard


To help us promote the new feature, we'll be streaming some Skybox devs trying the daily missions each day.

Daily Missions Coming Next Week!
Hi all,

Just wanted to post a quick announcement that we're going to be pushing out a new software update that will have the brand new Daily Missions feature included.

What are Daily Missions?

  • A new single player mission that is generated every day
  • The squad configuration, map, rule set, and enemies are all randomized each day - It'll be a surprise every time!
  • You get one try per day
  • Pass or fail, you get a score that is registered to the daily leaderboard


New Maps are in progress
It's been a while since we last updated you all on what we're up to and we want to let you know that we are working on some new content to be released in the (hopefully) near future.

Longer term, we are committed to supporting the game through additional software updates and DLC.

Update v1.03 - French Localization
As promised, the new software update is now live.

This version includes:

  • Fench localization (text)
  • Some object bug fixes in Hyades and Sierra Vista maps
  • other misc bug fixes

French Localization is coming!
Just a quick notice that we are going to be adding French localization support for the game.

We are hoping to release the software update later this week, barring any technical setbacks.

Global Rankings Leaderboard is now reset for June
Start of a new month means fresh new Global Rankings Leaderboard. The June board is now up and running.

Reminder - In-Game Leaderboards are Monthly
This is a reminder for those who may not be paying attention, that the Global Rankings Leaderboard on the Home Screen is based on monthly play.

This means that the leaderboard will be reset on June 1 @ 00:00 GMT.

We wanted to post this announcement in advance of that happening to avoid confusion.

Software Update - v1.02 is now available

Release Notes for this build:



  • Play Now settings display - When Play Now is selected, you will be able to see what map and unit numbers are being used for the match
  • In-Game HUD Tip - Informs players that BACKSPACE is the keyboard shortcut for deleting the last order given
  • Added temporary workaround for users who are experiencing crashes when clicking Mission Mode for the first time due to a video player conflict (this disables the movies) - SHIFT+ALT+CTRL+L-Click on the Mission Mode button
  • Fixed some spawn positions on Walker's Mill map
  • Some German localization fixes
  • Some Russian localization fixes
  • Fixed bug where, under rare circustances, opposing players units were not ghosted
