This week's patch is very small as I am focused on play testing the game and polishing the experience. As for Level 10, it should be released some time this month as soon as it is ready.

After reconsideration after reconsideration, I am not going to support any translation other than English. It would be nice to have many localization support, but I am starting to feel that I am taking a bite bigger than I can chew. For these reasons, Tavern Tycoon will not support localization.

Dev Build DB008.9 Released!
This patch adds a simple configuration wizard in preparation of pushing the current Dev Build to the Main Build. I will be focusing on finding bugs and polishing the current Dev Build until the projected date of mid July.

In the past week, I've been releasing patches on daily basis. This is my effort to stabilize the Dev Build as soon as possible so that it can be pushed down to the Main Build (I expect it to happen mid July). The effort while good and all, may introduce new bugs as the daily patches are not going through a thorough QA process. It is ironic, but please understand and report bugs be it old or new and I will do my best to resolve them quickly.

At the moment, I have made the decision to exclude the invasion system from the game completely. It is 90% functional at this point and some of you might have seen it in action in DB008.7 (It was included as a mistake :D) but it is now completely removed. The reason being, as I've mentioned in my previous posts, is that it shifts the core gameplay experience in general and I feel as a developer that it is not what Tavern Tycoon is about.

Phasing out 32-bit support.
Today, I am announcing the end of 32-bit support officially. 32-bit support has been a debatable topic, and have caused more than enough issues throughout development. But now that the game is about to enter a very important stage of its development, I am putting an end to it.
The game was originally 64-bit only, but due to some users requesting for 32-bit support, I have since supported it. But, with the recent progress with the rendering part of the game, many features of the game is no longer compatible with the 32-bit (and also pre-DX11) platform. I've also considered the fact that only 2~3% of the Steam users run a 32-bit system anyway.
Hence, I am ending the support for 32-bit.
The upcoming 0.5 version (ETA mid July) of the game will be the last version to support 32-bit.
The recommended OS is Windows 10 64-bit but it should support Windows 7 64-bit and above.
No patch this week!
I just wanted to let everyone know that there won't be a patch coming up today. The reason being, I've spent most of this week's time on releasing hotfixes and the "c" patch. Consequently, I haven't had enough time to work on this week's patch. For these reasons, I am not going to release a new patch today.
Next patch is due next Thursday as usual.
Also, I expect level 10 and invasion system to be released by the end of June and we should be able to push down the Dev Build to Main Build soon after.
