Guess which crowd-surfing, sandwich-slinging, high-five-delivering blob just turned 3! Teenage Blob!
It's absolutely wild that this little punk game is already 3 years old! It feels like just yesterday that we were animating Blob's little butt pedaling around on his BMX, but here we are, 3 years later!
To celebrate this occasion we're running a blobtastic birthday sale! To mark it's 3rd anniversary, Teenage Blob (and the Special Edition DLC) are both discounted by 53%.
We always knew Teenage Blob was an exceptionally weird offering. 3 years after it launched, people are still confused about the idea of a game band and a music band joining forces to create a split release. It's pretty safe to say that another 3 years from now, this will probably still be the case. We don't know if this kind of fringe release will ever find a huge audience, but there's 2 things we do know: 1) We truly believe that video games are the next forefront of punk 2) We will forever be grateful for every game punk that picked up and played Teenage Blob.
Teenage Blob's audience might have been small, but we were consistently overjoyed by the positive reception it got from people that did check it out. That continues to this day, as every once in a while a lovely new review appears to warm our hearts.
Thank you forever to every single person that got behind this strange little game, dressed their blob up in cute boots, fed sandwiches to stray dogs, and dived through the deepest blues. You are all awesome and radical beyond words, and we're so grateful that folks like you exist.

Teenage Blob 2nd Birthday Blowout!
Happy birthday Teenage Blob! Born into the world 2 years ago today, this blobby baby was a labour of love between our two bands, The Superweaks and Team Lazerbeam. We had so much fun crafting the songs and games that make up this unique, playable split-record, and getting to finally share it with the world was a dream come true.
Today we celebrate the two year anniversary of that huge moment! Join us in marking the occasion with a huge Blob Birthday blowout sale! For the next two weeks we're running a 50% sale on Teenage Blob and it's Special Edition DLC!
We also wanna take this opportunity to reflect on some of the awesome stuff that we pulled off in releasing blob! Here's a list of 8 of our proudest moments!
1) Performing Teenage Blob live! We were elated that we got to perform Teenage Blob live, with The Superweaks jamming the tunes, and Team Lazerbeam playing the games while they ripped through the songs. Here's our Blob performance for the wonderful Save and Sound Festival in 2021! 2) Teenage Blob on vinyl! Our proudest merch moment was getting Teenage Blob pressed to vinyl! Shipping on a seafoam green record, housed in a sleeve designed to look like the case of a 16-bit cartridge, we think this is one of the all time coolest video game vinyls! 3) Turning in-game merch into real world t-shirts! Straight from Teenage Blob's wardrobe, and the merch stand at the gig, we loved getting to turn 2 in-game shirts into actual t-shirts!
4) Pizza Punx Hot Sauce! In yet another (so far as we knew) first, Teenage Blob was the first video game in history that shipped with a hot sauce! Crafted by Evan Superweaks under his Weak Sauce label, with art by Ben Lazerbeam, Pizza Punx was taste sensation and the perfect edible companion to our uniquely interactive rock and roll experience! 5) Getting high fives from Scott! We were consistently overjoyed hearing how Teenage Blob struck a chord with radical people. A highlight was seeing Blob win over one of our favourite game devs, the lovely Scott Benson, creator of the phenomenal Night In The Woods! It was amazing to see Blob in Scott's Giant Bomb article "Scott Benson's Top 10 Games of 2020" and this tweet also made us have a little happy cry: 7) New York Game Awards nomination! It was such an honour see Teenage Blob nominated for the "Best Music in a Game" at the 10th annual New Work Game Awards!
8) Attracting kindred spirits and making a zine together! This project brought some absolutely lovely people into our lives! It was great making new buds through Blob, and even better that we some of them got involved in the blob zine, featuring contributions from some our most radical friends and chosen family!
If you were part of The blob Mob, we wanna pass on our most heartfelt and sincere thanks for getting in on this magic! We'll forever be so grateful to everyone that picked up our weird little contribution to the worlds of punk rock and video games - your purchases, playthrough and reviews meant the world to us!

Happy birthday Teenage Blob! Hard to believe it's already been one year since we bought this beautiful blobby baby into The World, but here we are!
It's been an absolute joy to see how happy this mutated game/ album hybrid made people. We're so profoundly grateful to everyone who picked Teenage Blob up and shared some words of encouragement.

Teenage Blob - Live at SAVE & SOUND!
We're delighted to announce that Teenage Blob is participating in a brand new fest called SAVE & SOUND!
Tonight (Thu 27 May) at 19:15 (CAT) SAVE & SOUND will premier a brand new live performance of Teenage Blob! The Superweaks absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one, and the show is something incredibly special that you will not want to miss!
Along with this stellar performance we'll be celebrating SAVE & SOUND by announcing some wonderful Blob news after the show! We'll also be running a 33% off sale on Teenage Blob for the duration of the fest!
