Info for players on older Mac models (pre Metal era Macs)
If your Mac is older than 2015 then there is a high chance it is not supporting Apple's graphics API metal. We have provided an Open GL branch for you. In your Steam Library, right click on Tengami and select Properties. Go to the Betas tab and select the "Open GL" branch. In your Steam library the game is now called "Tengami (opengl)".

Metal support for Mac version
This is primarily a maintenannce and performance update. Improved texture performance on all plattforms. Updated to the most recent version of Wwise (audio middleware). Mac is now fully using Metal to comply with Apple deprecating Open GL on their platforms.
Catalina support
With this update Tengami fully supports Mac OS Catalina, the 64-bit Mac app requirement and notarisation. We have also optimised the game further reducing the download size by half and enabled full retina support.

Introducing Astrologaster
We recently released our new game Astrologaster on Steam. Astrologaster is a comedy game set in Shakespeare's London. You take on the role of 'Doctor' Simon Forman and treat his patients using Astrology. The London medical establishment is calling 'Doctor' Forman out on his methods. Can you help him win a medical licence and proof these doubters wrong? Astrologaster is based on a true story and SImon Forman is a real historic figure. It is currently 15% off in the Steam summer sale.
Like Tengami, Astrologaster takes place inside a "pop-up book" to bring the casebooks of this notorious Astrologer come to life.
It’s a story reminiscent of Blackadder, dripping with sarcasm, theatrical and funny.
Astrologaster is bawdy biographical fiction told through medical quandaries and humorous choral music, all the more entertaining because it’s based on things that actually happened. - 4/5
Edge Magazine Jun 20, 2019 80 For all the gags, Astrologaster is a romp with no little substance. [Issue#334, p.120] - 8/10

Bug Update - 17/01/2014
First of all massive thanks to the community for reporting issues with the game and helping us to troubleshoot them. Thanks to everyone's collaboration we were able to resolve some issues and make progress on others.
Save Game - Resolved There was an issue with the game not saving correctly through Steam Cloud for some people. We believe that of this morning the issue is fixed and the game should save correctly for everyone now. Please note that the game uses an auto save system. Once you back to the game's main menu there should be an option 'Continue Game' is you have saved progress.
No mouse input - Resolved If the game is unresponsive to mouse input then you probably don't have VSync enabled. This is a setting in your graphics card driver . You can enable this through the Graphics setting in the Control Center. We are looking into forcing VSync from within the game, so no one has to change this manually in the future. It might also be worth updating your graphics card driver.
Game doesn't launch - Work in progress This is a bit of an odd issue, that a quick google search revealed is a mysterious issue for quite a few games. The main problem here seems to be a missing / corrupt / inaccessible MSVCP110.dll This file is usually part of Windows and is used by many programs. As a first step we have included the 'VS Studio 2012 - Distribution' as part of the game install. From what I understand this should be done by Steam automatically and not require any kind of manual install. Even with a re-install of the DLL the game still does not launch for a small number of people. We keep investigating the reasons for this.
Sound dropping - Work in Progress The music seems to be cutting out for some people. We are still looking into the reasons for this.
